{"id":23231,"collection_id":4,"collection":"abudawud","collection_name":"Sunan Abi Dawud","book_number":"40","bab_id":25.0,"english_bab_number":"25","arabic_bab_number":"25","hadith_number":"4440","our_hadith_number":90,"arabic_urn":944430,"arabic_bab_name":"باب الْمَرْأَةِ الَّتِي أَمَرَ النَّبِيُّ صلى الله عليه وسلم بِرَجْمِهَا مِنْ جُهَيْنَةَ","arabic_text":"حَدَّثَنَا مُسْلِمُ بْنُ إِبْرَاهِيمَ، أَنَّ هِشَامًا الدَّسْتَوَائِيَّ، وَأَبَانَ بْنَ يَزِيدَ، حَدَّثَاهُمُ - الْمَعْنَى، - عَنْ يَحْيَى، عَنْ أَبِي قِلاَبَةَ، عَنْ أَبِي الْمُهَلَّبِ، عَنْ عِمْرَانَ بْنِ حُصَيْنٍ، أَنَّ امْرَأَةً، - قَالَ فِي حَدِيثِ أَبَانَ مِنْ جُهَيْنَةَ - أَتَتِ النَّبِيَّ صلى الله عليه وسلم فَقَالَتْ إِنَّهَا زَنَتْ وَهِيَ حُبْلَى ‏.‏ فَدَعَا النَّبِيُّ صلى الله عليه وسلم وَلِيًّا لَهَا فَقَالَ لَهُ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم ‏\"‏ أَحْسِنْ إِلَيْهَا فَإِذَا وَضَعَتْ فَجِئْ بِهَا ‏\"‏ ‏.‏ فَلَمَّا أَنْ وَضَعَتْ جَاءَ بِهَا فَأَمَرَ بِهَا النَّبِيُّ صلى الله عليه وسلم فَشُكَّتْ عَلَيْهَا ثِيَابُهَا ثُمَّ أَمَرَ بِهَا فَرُجِمَتْ ثُمَّ أَمَرَهُمْ فَصَلَّوْا عَلَيْهَا فَقَالَ عُمَرُ يَا رَسُولَ اللَّهِ تُصَلِّي عَلَيْهَا وَقَدْ زَنَتْ قَالَ ‏\"‏ وَالَّذِي نَفْسِي بِيَدِهِ لَقَدْ تَابَتْ تَوْبَةً لَوْ قُسِّمَتْ بَيْنَ سَبْعِينَ مِنْ أَهْلِ الْمَدِينَةِ لَوَسِعَتْهُمْ وَهَلْ وَجَدْتَ أَفْضَلَ مِنْ أَنْ جَادَتْ بِنَفْسِهَا ‏\"‏ ‏.‏ لَمْ يَقُلْ عَنْ أَبَانَ فَشُكَّتْ عَلَيْهَا ثِيَابُهَا ‏.‏","arabic_transliteration":"haddathanaa muslimu bnu 'ibraahiyma، 'anna hishaamana alddastawaa'iyya، wa'abaana bna yaziyda، haddathaahumu - alma'nay، - 'an yahyay، 'an 'abiy qilaabaha، 'an 'abiy almuhallabi، 'an 'imraana bni husaynin، 'anna amra'ahan، - qaala fiy hadiythi 'abaana min juhaynaha - 'atati alnnabiyya sly allh 'lyh wslm faqaalat 'innahaa zanat wahiya hublay ‏.‏ fada'aa alnnabiyyu sly allh 'lyh wslm waliyyana lahaa faqaala lahu rasuwlu alllahi sly allh 'lyh wslm ‏\"‏ 'ahsin 'ilayhaa fa'idhaa wada'at faji' bihaa ‏\"‏ ‏.‏ falammaa 'an wada'at jaa'a bihaa fa'amara bihaa alnnabiyyu sly allh 'lyh wslm fashukkat 'alayhaa thiyaabuhaa thumma 'amara bihaa farujimat thumma 'amarahum fasallawa 'alayhaa faqaala 'umaru yaa rasuwla alllahi tusalliy 'alayhaa waqad zanat qaala ‏\"‏ waalladhiy nafsiy biyadihi laqad taabat tawbahan law qussimat bayna sab'iyna min 'ahli almadiynahi lawasi'athum wahal wajadta 'afdala min 'an jaadat binafsihaa ‏\"‏ ‏.‏ lam yaqul 'an 'abaana fashukkat 'alayhaa thiyaabuhaa ‏.‏","arabic_grade":"صحيح","english_urn":844260,"english_bab_name":"Regarding the woman of Juhainah whom the prophet (pbuh) ordered to be stoned","english_text":"<p>\n\nNarrated Imran ibn Husayn:\n</p>\n\n\n\n<p>\n\nA woman belonging to the tribe of Juhaynah (according to the version of Aban) came to the Prophet (saws) and said that she had committed fornication and that she was pregnant. The Messenger of Allah (saws) called her guardian.  \n</p>\n\n\n<p>\n\nThen the Messenger of Allah (saws) said to him: Be good to her, and when she bears a child, bring her (to me). When she gave birth to the child, he brought her (to him). The Prophet (saws) gave orders regarding her, and her clothes were tied to her. He then commanded regarding her and she was stoned to death. He commanded the people (to pray) and they prayed over her.  \n</p>\n\n\n<p>\n\nThereupon Umar said: Are you praying over her, Messenger of Allah, when she has committed fornication?  \n</p>\n\n\n<p>\n\nHe said: By Him in Whose hand my soul is, she has repented to such an extent that if it were divided among the seventy people of Medina, it would have been enough for them all. And what do you find better than the fact that she gave her life.  \n</p>\n\n\n<p>\n\nAban did not say in his version: Then her clothes were tied to her.\n</p>","english_grade":"Sahih","last_updated":null,"xrefs":""}
