{"id":23150,"collection_id":4,"collection":"abudawud","collection_name":"Sunan Abi Dawud","book_number":"40","bab_id":1.0,"english_bab_number":"1","arabic_bab_number":"1","hadith_number":"4359","our_hadith_number":9,"arabic_urn":943620,"arabic_bab_name":"باب الْحُكْمِ فِيمَنِ ارْتَدَّ","arabic_text":"حَدَّثَنَا عُثْمَانُ بْنُ أَبِي شَيْبَةَ، حَدَّثَنَا أَحْمَدُ بْنُ الْمُفَضَّلِ، حَدَّثَنَا أَسْبَاطُ بْنُ نَصْرٍ، قَالَ زَعَمَ السُّدِّيُّ عَنْ مُصْعَبِ بْنِ سَعْدٍ، عَنْ سَعْدٍ، قَالَ لَمَّا كَانَ يَوْمُ فَتْحِ مَكَّةَ اخْتَبَأَ عَبْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ سَعْدِ بْنِ أَبِي سَرْحٍ عِنْدَ عُثْمَانَ بْنِ عَفَّانَ فَجَاءَ بِهِ حَتَّى أَوْقَفَهُ عَلَى النَّبِيِّ صلى الله عليه وسلم فَقَالَ يَا رَسُولَ اللَّهِ بَايِعْ عَبْدَ اللَّهِ ‏.‏ فَرَفَعَ رَأْسَهُ فَنَظَرَ إِلَيْهِ ثَلاَثًا كُلُّ ذَلِكَ يَأْبَى فَبَايَعَهُ بَعْدَ ثَلاَثٍ ثُمَّ أَقْبَلَ عَلَى أَصْحَابِهِ فَقَالَ ‏\"‏ أَمَا كَانَ فِيكُمْ رَجُلٌ رَشِيدٌ يَقُومُ إِلَى هَذَا حَيْثُ رَآنِي كَفَفْتُ يَدِي عَنْ بَيْعَتِهِ فَيَقْتُلَهُ ‏\"‏ ‏.‏ فَقَالُوا مَا نَدْرِي يَا رَسُولَ اللَّهِ مَا فِي نَفْسِكَ أَلاَّ أَوْمَأْتَ إِلَيْنَا بِعَيْنِكَ قَالَ ‏\"‏ إِنَّهُ لاَ يَنْبَغِي لِنَبِيٍّ أَنْ تَكُونَ لَهُ خَائِنَةُ الأَعْيُنِ ‏\"‏ ‏.‏","arabic_transliteration":"haddathanaa 'uthmaanu bnu 'abiy shaybaha، haddathanaa 'ahmadu bnu almufaddali، haddathanaa 'asbaatu bnu nasrin، qaala za'ama alssuddiyyu 'an mus'abi bni sa'din، 'an sa'din، qaala lammaa kaana yawmu fathi makkaha akhtaba'a 'abdu alllahi bnu sa'di bni 'abiy sarhin 'inda 'uthmaana bni 'affaana fajaa'a bihi hattay 'awqafahu 'alay alnnabiyyi sly allh 'lyh wslm faqaala yaa rasuwla alllahi baayi' 'abda alllahi ‏.‏ farafa'a ra'sahu fanazara 'ilayhi thalaathana kullu dhalika ya'bay fabaaya'ahu ba'da thalaathin thumma 'aqbala 'alay 'ashaabihi faqaala ‏\"‏ 'amaa kaana fiykum rajulun rashiydun yaquwmu 'ilay hadhaa haythu ra'aaniy kafaftu yadiy 'an bay'atihi fayaqtulahu ‏\"‏ ‏.‏ faqaaluwa maa nadriy yaa rasuwla alllahi maa fiy nafsika 'alaaa 'awma'ta 'ilaynaa bi'aynika qaala ‏\"‏ 'innahu laa yanbaghiy linabiyyin 'an takuwna lahu khaa'inahu al'a'yuni ‏\"‏ ‏.‏","arabic_grade":"صحيح","english_urn":843460,"english_bab_name":"Ruling on one who apostatizes","english_text":"<p>\n\nNarrated Sa'd ibn AbuWaqqas:\n</p>\n\n\n\n<p>\n\nOn the day of the conquest of Mecca, Abdullah ibn Sa'd ibn AbuSarh hid himself with Uthman ibn Affan.  \n</p>\n\n\n<p>\n\nHe brought him and made him stand before the Prophet (saws), and said: Accept the allegiance of Abdullah, Messenger of Allah! He raised his head and looked at him three times, refusing him each time, but accepted his allegiance after the third time.  \n</p>\n\n\n<p>\n\nThen turning to his companions, he said: Was not there a wise man among you who would stand up to him when he saw that I had withheld my hand from accepting his allegiance, and kill him?  \n</p>\n\n\n<p>\n\nThey said: We did not know what you had in your heart, Messenger of Allah! Why did you not give us a signal with your eye?  \n</p>\n\n\n<p>\n\nHe said: It is not advisable for a Prophet to play deceptive tricks with the eyes.\n</p>","english_grade":"Sahih","last_updated":null,"xrefs":""}
