{"id":23034,"collection_id":4,"collection":"abudawud","collection_name":"Sunan Abi Dawud","book_number":"37","bab_id":1.0,"english_bab_number":"1579","arabic_bab_number":"1","hadith_number":"4244","our_hadith_number":5,"arabic_urn":942470,"arabic_bab_name":"باب ذِكْرِ الْفِتَنِ وَدَلاَئِلِهَا","arabic_text":"حَدَّثَنَا مُسَدَّدٌ، حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو عَوَانَةَ، عَنْ قَتَادَةَ، عَنْ نَصْرِ بْنِ عَاصِمٍ، عَنْ سُبَيْعِ بْنِ خَالِدٍ، قَالَ أَتَيْتُ الْكُوفَةَ فِي زَمَنِ فُتِحَتْ تُسْتَرُ أَجْلُبُ مِنْهَا بِغَالاً فَدَخَلْتُ الْمَسْجِدَ فَإِذَا صَدْعٌ مِنَ الرِّجَالِ وَإِذَا رَجُلٌ جَالِسٌ تَعْرِفُ إِذَا رَأَيْتَهُ أَنَّهُ مِنْ رِجَالِ أَهْلِ الْحِجَازِ قَالَ قُلْتُ مَنْ هَذَا فَتَجَهَّمَنِي الْقَوْمُ وَقَالُوا أَمَا تَعْرِفُ هَذَا هَذَا حُذَيْفَةُ بْنُ الْيَمَانِ صَاحِبُ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم فَقَالَ حُذَيْفَةُ إِنَّ النَّاسَ كَانُوا يَسْأَلُونَ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم عَنِ الْخَيْرِ وَكُنْتُ أَسْأَلُهُ عَنِ الشَّرِّ فَأَحْدَقَهُ الْقَوْمُ بِأَبْصَارِهِمْ فَقَالَ إِنِّي قَدْ أَرَى الَّذِي تُنْكِرُونَ إِنِّي قُلْتُ يَا رَسُولَ اللَّهِ أَرَأَيْتَ هَذَا الْخَيْرَ الَّذِي أَعْطَانَا اللَّهُ أَيَكُونُ بَعْدَهُ شَرٌّ كَمَا كَانَ قَبْلَهُ قَالَ ‏\"‏ نَعَمْ ‏\"‏ ‏.‏ قُلْتُ فَمَا الْعِصْمَةُ مِنْ ذَلِكَ قَالَ ‏\"‏ السَّيْفُ ‏\"‏ ‏.‏ قُلْتُ يَا رَسُولَ اللَّهِ ثُمَّ مَاذَا يَكُونُ قَالَ ‏\"‏ إِنْ كَانَ لِلَّهِ خَلِيفَةٌ فِي الأَرْضِ فَضَرَبَ ظَهْرَكَ وَأَخَذَ مَالَكَ فَأَطِعْهُ وَإِلاَّ فَمُتْ وَأَنْتَ عَاضٌّ بِجِذْلِ شَجَرَةٍ ‏\"‏ ‏.‏ قُلْتُ ثُمَّ مَاذَا قَالَ ‏\"‏ ثُمَّ يَخْرُجُ الدَّجَّالُ مَعَهُ نَهْرٌ وَنَارٌ فَمَنْ وَقَعَ فِي نَارِهِ وَجَبَ أَجْرُهُ وَحُطَّ وِزْرُهُ وَمَنْ وَقَعَ فِي نَهْرِهِ وَجَبَ وِزْرُهُ وَحُطَّ أَجْرُهُ ‏\"‏ ‏.‏ قَالَ قُلْتُ ثُمَّ مَاذَا قَالَ ‏\"‏ ثُمَّ هِيَ قِيَامُ السَّاعَةِ ‏\"‏ ‏.‏","arabic_transliteration":"haddathanaa musaddadun، haddathanaa 'abuw 'awaanaha، 'an qataadaha، 'an nasri bni 'aasimin، 'an subay'i bni khaalidin، qaala 'ataytu alkuwfaha fiy zamani futihat tustaru 'ajlubu minhaa bighaalaan fadakhaltu almasjida fa'idhaa sad'un mina alrrijaali wa'idhaa rajulun jaalisun ta'rifu 'idhaa ra'aytahu 'annahu min rijaali 'ahli alhijaazi qaala qultu man hadhaa fatajahhamaniy alqawmu waqaaluwa 'amaa ta'rifu hadhaa hadhaa hudhayfahu bnu alyamaani saahibu rasuwli alllahi sly allh 'lyh wslm faqaala hudhayfahu 'inna alnnaasa kaanuwa yas'aluwna rasuwla alllahi sly allh 'lyh wslm 'ani alkhayri wakuntu 'as'aluhu 'ani alshsharri fa'ahdaqahu alqawmu bi'absaarihim faqaala 'inniy qad 'aray alladhiy tunkiruwna 'inniy qultu yaa rasuwla alllahi 'ara'ayta hadhaa alkhayra alladhiy 'a'taanaa alllahu 'ayakuwnu ba'dahu sharrun kamaa kaana qablahu qaala ‏\"‏ na'am ‏\"‏ ‏.‏ qultu famaa al'ismahu min dhalika qaala ‏\"‏ alssayfu ‏\"‏ ‏.‏ qultu yaa rasuwla alllahi thumma maadhaa yakuwnu qaala ‏\"‏ 'in kaana lillahi khaliyfahun fiy al'ardi fadaraba zahraka wa'akhadha maalaka fa'ati'hu wa'ilaaa famut wa'anta 'aaddun bijidhli shajarahin ‏\"‏ ‏.‏ qultu thumma maadhaa qaala ‏\"‏ thumma yakhruju alddajjaalu ma'ahu nahrun wanaarun faman waqa'a fiy naarihi wajaba 'ajruhu wahutta wizruhu waman waqa'a fiy nahrihi wajaba wizruhu wahutta 'ajruhu ‏\"‏ ‏.‏ qaala qultu thumma maadhaa qaala ‏\"‏ thumma hiya qiyaamu alssaa'ahi ‏\"‏ ‏.‏","arabic_grade":"حسن","english_urn":842320,"english_bab_name":"Mention Of Tribulations And Their Signs","english_text":"<p>\n\nNarrated Hudhayfah ibn al-Yaman:\n</p>\n\n\n\n<p>\n\nSubay' ibn Khalid said: I came to Kufah at the time when Tustar was conquered. I took some mules from it. When I entered the mosque (of Kufah), I found there some people of moderate stature, and among them was a man whom you could recognize when you saw him that he was from the people of Hijaz.  \n</p>\n\n\n<p>\n\nI asked: Who is he?  The people frowned at me and said: Do you not recognize him? This is Hudhayfah ibn al-Yaman, the companion of the Messenger of Allah (saws).  \n</p>\n\n\n<p>\n\nThen Hudhayfah said: People used to ask the Messenger of Allah (saws) about good, and I used to ask him about evil. Then the people stared hard at him.  \n</p>\n\n\n<p>\n\nHe said: I know the reason why you dislike it. I then asked: Messenger of Allah, will there be evil as there was before, after this good which Allah has bestowed on us?  \n</p>\n\n\n<p>\n\nHe replied: Yes.  I asked: Wherein does the protection from it lie?  He replied: In the sword.  I asked: Messenger of Allah, what will then happen?  \n</p>\n\n\n<p>\n\nHe replied: If Allah has on Earth a caliph who flays your back and takes your property, obey him, otherwise die holding onto the stump of a tree.  \n</p>\n\n\n<p>\n\nI asked: What will come next?  He replied: Then the Antichrist (Dajjal) will come forth accompanied by a river and fire. He who falls into his fire will certainly receive his reward, and have his load taken off him, but he who falls into his river will have his load retained and his reward taken off him.  \n</p>\n\n\n<p>\n\nI then asked: What will come next?
