{"id":22948,"collection_id":4,"collection":"abudawud","collection_name":"Sunan Abi Dawud","book_number":"34","bab_id":47.0,"english_bab_number":"1549","arabic_bab_number":"47","hadith_number":"4158","our_hadith_number":139,"arabic_urn":941610,"arabic_bab_name":"باب فِي الصُّوَرِ","arabic_text":"حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو صَالِحٍ، مَحْبُوبُ بْنُ مُوسَى حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو إِسْحَاقَ الْفَزَارِيُّ، عَنْ يُونُسَ بْنِ أَبِي إِسْحَاقَ، عَنْ مُجَاهِدٍ، قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو هُرَيْرَةَ، قَالَ قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم ‏\"‏ أَتَانِي جِبْرِيلُ عَلَيْهِ السَّلاَمُ فَقَالَ لِي أَتَيْتُكَ الْبَارِحَةَ فَلَمْ يَمْنَعْنِي أَنْ أَكُونَ دَخَلْتُ إِلاَّ أَنَّهُ كَانَ عَلَى الْبَابِ تَمَاثِيلُ وَكَانَ فِي الْبَيْتِ قِرَامُ سِتْرٍ فِيهِ تَمَاثِيلُ وَكَانَ فِي الْبَيْتِ كَلْبٌ فَمُرْ بِرَأْسِ التِّمْثَالِ الَّذِي فِي الْبَيْتِ يُقْطَعُ فَيَصِيرُ كَهَيْئَةِ الشَّجَرَةِ وَمُرْ بِالسِّتْرِ فَلْيُقْطَعْ فَلْيُجْعَلْ مِنْهُ وِسَادَتَيْنِ مَنْبُوذَتَيْنِ تُوطَآنِ وَمُرْ بِالْكَلْبِ فَلْيُخْرَجْ ‏\"‏ ‏.‏ فَفَعَلَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم وَإِذَا الْكَلْبُ لِحَسَنٍ أَوْ حُسَيْنٍ كَانَ تَحْتَ نَضَدٍ لَهُمْ فَأَمَرَ بِهِ فَأُخْرِجَ ‏.‏ قَالَ أَبُو دَاوُدَ وَالنَّضَدُ شَىْءٌ تُوضَعُ عَلَيْهِ الثِّيَابُ شِبْهُ السَّرِيرِ ‏.‏","arabic_transliteration":"haddathanaa 'abuw saalihin، mahbuwbu bnu muwsay haddathanaa 'abuw 'ishaaqa alfazaariyyu، 'an yuwnusa bni 'abiy 'ishaaqa، 'an mujaahidin، qaala haddathanaa 'abuw hurayraha، qaala qaala rasuwlu alllahi sly allh 'lyh wslm ‏\"‏ 'ataaniy jibriylu 'alayhi alssalaamu faqaala liy 'ataytuka albaarihaha falam yamna'niy 'an 'akuwna dakhaltu 'ilaaa 'annahu kaana 'alay albaabi tamaathiylu wakaana fiy albayti qiraamu sitrin fiyhi tamaathiylu wakaana fiy albayti kalbun famur bira'si alttimthaali alladhiy fiy albayti yuqta'u fayasiyru kahay'ahi alshshajarahi wamur bialssitri falyuqta' falyuj'al minhu wisaadatayni manbuwdhatayni tuwta'aani wamur bialkalbi falyukhraj ‏\"‏ ‏.‏ fafa'ala rasuwlu alllahi sly allh 'lyh wslm wa'idhaa alkalbu lihasanin 'aw husaynin kaana tahta nadadin lahum fa'amara bihi fa'ukhrija ‏.‏ qaala 'abuw daawuda waalnnadadu shay'un tuwda'u 'alayhi alththiyaabu shibhu alssariyri ‏.‏","arabic_grade":"صحيح","english_urn":841460,"english_bab_name":"Images","english_text":"<p>\n\nNarrated AbuHurayrah:\n</p>\n\n\n\n<p>\n\nThe Messenger of Allah (saws) said: Gabriel (saws) came to me and said: I came to you last night and was prevented from entering simply because there were images at the door, for there was a decorated curtain with images on it in the house, and there was a dog in the house. So order the head of the image which is in the house to be cut off so that it resembles the form of a tree; order the curtain to be cut up and made into two cushions spread out on which people may tread; and order the dog to be turned out.  \n</p>\n<p>\nThe Messenger of Allah (saws) then did so. The dog belonged to al-Hasan or al-Husayn and was under their couch. So he ordered it to be turned out.\n</p>\n\n<p>\nAbu Dawud said: Al-Nadd means a thing on which clothes are placed like a couch.\n</p>","english_grade":"Sahih","last_updated":null,"xrefs":""}
