{"id":22460,"collection_id":4,"collection":"abudawud","collection_name":"Sunan Abi Dawud","book_number":"27","bab_id":1.0,"english_bab_number":"1","arabic_bab_number":"1","hadith_number":"3670","our_hadith_number":2,"arabic_urn":936730,"arabic_bab_name":"باب فِي تَحْرِيمِ الْخَمْرِ","arabic_text":"حَدَّثَنَا عَبَّادُ بْنُ مُوسَى الْخُتَّلِيُّ، أَخْبَرَنَا إِسْمَاعِيلُ، - يَعْنِي ابْنَ جَعْفَرٍ - عَنْ إِسْرَائِيلَ، عَنْ أَبِي إِسْحَاقَ، عَنْ عَمْرٍو، عَنْ عُمَرَ بْنِ الْخَطَّابِ، قَالَ لَمَّا نَزَلَ تَحْرِيمُ الْخَمْرِ قَالَ عُمَرُ اللَّهُمَّ بَيِّنْ لَنَا فِي الْخَمْرِ بَيَانًا شِفَاءً فَنَزَلَتِ الآيَةُ الَّتِي فِي الْبَقَرَةِ ‏<A id=\"q1\" name=\"q1\" href=\"javascript:openquran(1,219,219)\"><c_q1>{‏ يَسْأَلُونَكَ عَنِ الْخَمْرِ وَالْمَيْسِرِ قُلْ فِيهِمَا إِثْمٌ كَبِيرٌ ‏}</c_q1></a>‏ الآيَةَ قَالَ فَدُعِيَ عُمَرُ فَقُرِئَتْ عَلَيْهِ قَالَ اللَّهُمَّ بَيِّنْ لَنَا فِي الْخَمْرِ بَيَانًا شِفَاءً فَنَزَلَتِ الآيَةُ الَّتِي فِي النِّسَاءِ ‏<A id=\"q2\" name=\"q2\" href=\"javascript:openquran(3,43,43)\"><c_q2>{‏ يَا أَيُّهَا الَّذِينَ آمَنُوا لاَ تَقْرَبُوا الصَّلاَةَ وَأَنْتُمْ سُكَارَى ‏}</c_q2></a>‏ فَكَانَ مُنَادِي رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم إِذَا أُقِيمَتِ الصَّلاَةُ يُنَادِي أَلاَ لاَ يَقْرَبَنَّ الصَّلاَةَ سَكْرَانُ فَدُعِيَ عُمَرُ فَقُرِئَتْ عَلَيْهِ فَقَالَ اللَّهُمَّ بَيِّنْ لَنَا فِي الْخَمْرِ بَيَانًا شِفَاءً فَنَزَلَتْ هَذِهِ الآيَةُ ‏<A id=\"q3\" name=\"q3\" href=\"javascript:openquran(4,91,91)\"><c_q3>{‏ فَهَلْ أَنْتُمْ مُنْتَهُونَ ‏}</c_q3></a>‏ قَالَ عُمَرُ انْتَهَيْنَا ‏.‏","arabic_transliteration":"haddathanaa 'abbaadu bnu muwsay alkhuttaliyyu، 'akhbaranaa 'ismaa'iylu، - ya'niy abna ja'farin - 'an 'israa'iyla، 'an 'abiy 'ishaaqa، 'an 'amrinw، 'an 'umara bni alkhattaabi، qaala lammaa nazala tahriymu alkhamri qaala 'umaru alllahumma bayyin lanaa fiy alkhamri bayaanana shifaa'an fanazalati al'aayahu allatiy fiy albaqarahi ‏<A id=\"q1\" name=\"q1\" href=\"javascript:openquran(1,219,219)\"><c_q1>{‏ yas'aluwnaka 'ani alkhamri waalmaysiri qul fiyhimaa 'ithmun kabiyrun ‏}</c_q1></a>‏ al'aayaha qaala fadu'iya 'umaru faquri'at 'alayhi qaala alllahumma bayyin lanaa fiy alkhamri bayaanana shifaa'an fanazalati al'aayahu allatiy fiy alnnisaa'i ‏<A id=\"q2\" name=\"q2\" href=\"javascript:openquran(3,43,43)\"><c_q2>{‏ yaa 'ayyuhaa alladhiyna 'aamanuwa laa taqrabuwa alssalaaha wa'antum sukaaray ‏}</c_q2></a>‏ fakaana munaadiy rasuwli alllahi sly allh 'lyh wslm 'idhaa 'uqiymati alssalaahu yunaadiy 'alaa laa yaqrabanna alssalaaha sakraanu fadu'iya 'umaru faquri'at 'alayhi faqaala alllahumma bayyin lanaa fiy alkhamri bayaanana shifaa'an fanazalat hadhihi al'aayahu ‏<A id=\"q3\" name=\"q3\" href=\"javascript:openquran(4,91,91)\"><c_q3>{‏ fahal 'antum muntahuwna ‏}</c_q3></a>‏ qaala 'umaru antahaynaa ‏.‏","arabic_grade":"صحيح","english_urn":836620,"english_bab_name":"The prohibition of Khamr","english_text":"<p>\n\nNarrated Umar ibn al-Khattab:\n</p>\n\n\n\n<p>\n\nWhen the prohibition of wine (was yet to be) declared, Umar said: O Allah, give us a satisfactory explanation about wine.  \n</p>\n\n\n<p>\n\nSo the following verse of Surat al-Baqarah revealed; \"They ask thee concerning wine and gambling. Say: In them is great sin....\" Umar was then called and it was recited to him.  \n</p>\n\n\n<p>\n\nHe said: O Allah, give us a satisfactory explanation about wine.  \n</p>\n\n\n<p>\n\nThen the following verse of Surat an-Nisa' was revealed: \"O ye who believe! approach not prayers with a mind befogged....\" Thereafter the herald of the Messenger of Allah (saws) would call when the (congregational) prayer was performed: Beware, one who is drunk should not come to prayer. Umar was again called and it was recited to him).  \n</p>\n\n\n<p>\n\nHe said: O Allah, give us a satisfactory explanation about wine.
