{"id":22357,"collection_id":4,"collection":"abudawud","collection_name":"Sunan Abi Dawud","book_number":"24","bab_id":55.0,"english_bab_number":"1336","arabic_bab_number":"55","hadith_number":"3567","our_hadith_number":152,"arabic_urn":935700,"arabic_bab_name":"باب فِيمَنْ أَفْسَدَ شَيْئًا يَغْرَمُ مِثْلَهُ","arabic_text":"حَدَّثَنَا مُسَدَّدٌ، حَدَّثَنَا يَحْيَى، ح وَحَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ الْمُثَنَّى، حَدَّثَنَا خَالِدٌ، عَنْ حُمَيْدٍ، عَنْ أَنَسٍ، أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم كَانَ عِنْدَ بَعْضِ نِسَائِهِ فَأَرْسَلَتْ إِحْدَى أُمَّهَاتِ الْمُؤْمِنِينَ مَعَ خَادِمِهَا بِقَصْعَةٍ فِيهَا طَعَامٌ قَالَ فَضَرَبَتْ بِيَدِهَا فَكَسَرَتِ الْقَصْعَةَ - قَالَ ابْنُ الْمُثَنَّى - فَأَخَذَ النَّبِيُّ صلى الله عليه وسلم الْكِسْرَتَيْنِ فَضَمَّ إِحْدَاهُمَا إِلَى الأُخْرَى فَجَعَلَ يَجْمَعُ فِيهَا الطَّعَامَ وَيَقُولُ ‏\"‏ غَارَتْ أُمُّكُمْ ‏\"‏ ‏.‏ زَادَ ابْنُ الْمُثَنَّى ‏\"‏ كُلُوا ‏\"‏ ‏.‏ فَأَكَلُوا حَتَّى جَاءَتْ قَصْعَتُهَا الَّتِي فِي بَيْتِهَا ثُمَّ رَجَعْنَا إِلَى لَفْظِ حَدِيثِ مُسَدَّدٍ وَقَالَ ‏\"‏ كُلُوا ‏\"‏ ‏.‏ وَحَبَسَ الرَّسُولَ وَالْقَصْعَةَ حَتَّى فَرَغُوا فَدَفَعَ الْقَصْعَةَ الصَّحِيحَةَ إِلَى الرَّسُولِ وَحَبَسَ الْمَكْسُورَةَ فِي بَيْتِهِ ‏.‏","arabic_transliteration":"haddathanaa musaddadun، haddathanaa yahyay، h wahaddathanaa muhammadu bnu almuthannay، haddathanaa khaalidun، 'an humaydin، 'an 'anasin، 'anna rasuwla alllahi sly allh 'lyh wslm kaana 'inda ba'di nisaa'ihi fa'arsalat 'ihday 'ummahaati almu'miniyna ma'a khaadimihaa biqas'ahin fiyhaa ta'aamun qaala fadarabat biyadihaa fakasarati alqas'aha - qaala abnu almuthannay - fa'akhadha alnnabiyyu sly allh 'lyh wslm alkisratayni fadamma 'ihdaahumaa 'ilay al'ukhray faja'ala yajma'u fiyhaa altta'aama wayaquwlu ‏\"‏ ghaarat 'ummukum ‏\"‏ ‏.‏ zaada abnu almuthannay ‏\"‏ kuluwa ‏\"‏ ‏.‏ fa'akaluwa hattay jaa'at qas'atuhaa allatiy fiy baytihaa thumma raja'naa 'ilay lafzi hadiythi musaddadin waqaala ‏\"‏ kuluwa ‏\"‏ ‏.‏ wahabasa alrrasuwla waalqas'aha hattay faraghuwa fadafa'a alqas'aha alssahiyhaha 'ilay alrrasuwli wahabasa almaksuwraha fiy baytihi ‏.‏","arabic_grade":"صحيح","english_urn":835595,"english_bab_name":"The One Who Damages Something Is Liable To Replace It With Something Similar","english_text":"<p>\nAnas said:\n</p>\n\n<p>\nThe Messenger of Allah (saws) was with one of his wives. One of the Mothers of faithful sent a bowl containing food through a servant of hers. She struck with her hand and broke the bowl. Ibn al-Muthanna's version has: The Prophet (saws) took the pieces of the bowl, and joined one with the other, and began to collect the food in it, saying: Your mother is jealous. Ibn al-Muthanna added: Eat. They ate till a bowl of the one in whose house he was brought.\n</p>\n<p>\nAbu Dawud said: We then returned to the version of the tradition of Musaddad: He said: Eat. He detained the servant and the bowl till they were free. Then he returned the sound bowl to the messenger and detained the broken one (bowl) in his house.\n</p>","english_grade":"Sahih","last_updated":null,"xrefs":""}
