{"id":2228,"collection_id":1,"collection":"bukhari","collection_name":"Sahih al-Bukhari","book_number":"51","bab_id":17.0,"english_bab_number":"17","arabic_bab_number":"17","hadith_number":"2597","our_hadith_number":31,"arabic_urn":125110,"arabic_bab_name":"باب مَنْ لَمْ يَقْبَلِ الْهَدِيَّةَ لِعِلَّةٍ","arabic_text":"اسْتَعْمَلَ النَّبِيُّ صلى الله عليه وسلم رَجُلاً مِنَ الأَزْدِ يُقَالُ لَهُ ابْنُ اللُّتْبِيَّةِ عَلَى الصَّدَقَةِ، فَلَمَّا قَدِمَ قَالَ هَذَا لَكُمْ، وَهَذَا أُهْدِيَ لِي‏.‏ قَالَ ‏\"‏ فَهَلاَّ جَلَسَ فِي بَيْتِ أَبِيهِ أَوْ بَيْتِ أُمِّهِ، فَيَنْظُرَ يُهْدَى لَهُ أَمْ لاَ وَالَّذِي نَفْسِي بِيَدِهِ لاَ يَأْخُذُ أَحَدٌ مِنْهُ شَيْئًا إِلاَّ جَاءَ بِهِ يَوْمَ الْقِيَامَةِ يَحْمِلُهُ عَلَى رَقَبَتِهِ، إِنْ كَانَ بَعِيرًا لَهُ رُغَاءٌ أَوْ بَقَرَةً لَهَا خُوَارٌ أَوْ شَاةً تَيْعَرُ ـ ثُمَّ رَفَعَ بِيَدِهِ، حَتَّى رَأَيْنَا عُفْرَةَ إِبْطَيْهِ ـ اللَّهُمَّ هَلْ بَلَّغْتُ اللَّهُمَّ هَلْ بَلَّغْتُ ثَلاَثًا ‏\"","arabic_transliteration":"asta'mala alnnabiyyu sly allh 'lyh wslm rajulaan mina al'azdi yuqaalu lahu abnu alllutbiyyahi 'alay alssadaqahi، falammaa qadima qaala hadhaa lakum، wahadhaa 'uhdiya liy‏.‏ qaala ‏\"‏ fahalaaa jalasa fiy bayti 'abiyhi 'aw bayti 'ummihi، fayanzura yuhday lahu 'am laa waalladhiy nafsiy biyadihi laa ya'khudhu 'ahadun minhu shay'ana 'ilaaa jaa'a bihi yawma alqiyaamahi yahmiluhu 'alay raqabatihi، 'in kaana ba'iyrana lahu rughaa'un 'aw baqarahan lahaa khuwaarun 'aw shaahan tay'aru  thumma rafa'a biyadihi، hattay ra'aynaa 'ufraha 'ibtayhi  alllahumma hal ballaghtu alllahumma hal ballaghtu thalaathana ‏\"","arabic_grade":"صحيح","english_urn":24330,"english_bab_name":"Whoever refused to accept a present","english_text":"<p>\nNarrated Abu Humaid Al-Sa`idi:\n\n<p>The Prophet appointed a man from the tribe of Al-Azd, called Ibn 'Utbiyya for collecting the Zakat. \nWhen he returned he said, \"This (i.e. the Zakat) is for you and this has been given to my as a present.\" \nThe Prophet said, \"Why hadn't he stayed in his father's or mother's house to see whether he would be \ngiven presents or not? By Him in Whose Hands my life is, whoever takes something from the \nresources of the Zakat (unlawfully) will be carrying it on his neck on the Day of Resurrection; if it be \na camel, it will be grunting; if a cow, it will be mooing; and if a sheep, it will be bleating.\" The \nProphet then raised his hands till we saw the whiteness of his armpits, and he said thrice, \"O Allah! \nHaven't I conveyed Your Message (to them)?\"","english_grade":"Sahih","last_updated":null,"xrefs":""}
