{"id":21480,"collection_id":4,"collection":"abudawud","collection_name":"Sunan Abi Dawud","book_number":"15","bab_id":131.0,"english_bab_number":"978","arabic_bab_number":"131","hadith_number":"2690","our_hadith_number":214,"arabic_urn":926930,"arabic_bab_name":"باب فِي فِدَاءِ الأَسِيرِ بِالْمَالِ","arabic_text":"حَدَّثَنَا أَحْمَدُ بْنُ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ حَنْبَلٍ، قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو نُوحٍ، قَالَ أَخْبَرَنَا عِكْرِمَةُ بْنُ عَمَّارٍ، قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا سِمَاكٌ الْحَنَفِيُّ، قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا ابْنُ عَبَّاسٍ، قَالَ حَدَّثَنِي عُمَرُ بْنُ الْخَطَّابِ، قَالَ لَمَّا كَانَ يَوْمُ بَدْرٍ فَأَخَذَ - يَعْنِي النَّبِيَّ صلى الله عليه وسلم - الْفِدَاءَ أَنْزَلَ اللَّهُ عَزَّ وَجَلَّ ‏<A id=\"q21\" name=\"q21\" href=\"javascript:openquran(7,67,68)\"><c_q21>{‏ مَا كَانَ لِنَبِيٍّ أَنْ يَكُونَ لَهُ أَسْرَى حَتَّى يُثْخِنَ فِي الأَرْضِ ‏}</c_q21></a>‏ إِلَى قَوْلِهِ ‏<A id=\"q22\" name=\"q22\" href=\"javascript:openquran(7,68,68)\"><c_q22>{‏ لَمَسَّكُمْ فِيمَا أَخَذْتُمْ ‏}</c_q22></a>‏ مِنَ الْفِدَاءِ ثُمَّ أَحَلَّ لَهُمُ اللَّهُ الْغَنَائِمَ ‏.‏ قَالَ أَبُو دَاوُدَ سَمِعْتُ أَحْمَدَ بْنَ حَنْبَلٍ يُسْأَلُ عَنِ اسْمِ أَبِي نُوحٍ فَقَالَ أَيْشٍ تَصْنَعُ بِاسْمِهِ اسْمُهُ اسْمٌ شَنِيعٌ ‏.‏ قَالَ أَبُو دَاوُدَ اسْمُ أَبِي نُوحٍ قُرَادٌ وَالصَّحِيحُ عَبْدُ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنُ غَزْوَانَ ‏.‏","arabic_transliteration":"haddathanaa 'ahmadu bnu muhammadi bni hanbalin، qaala haddathanaa 'abuw nuwhin، qaala 'akhbaranaa 'ikrimahu bnu 'ammaarin، qaala haddathanaa simaakun alhanafiyyu، qaala haddathanaa abnu 'abbaasin، qaala haddathaniy 'umaru bnu alkhattaabi، qaala lammaa kaana yawmu badrin fa'akhadha - ya'niy alnnabiyya sly allh 'lyh wslm - alfidaa'a 'anzala alllahu 'azza wajalla ‏<A id=\"q21\" name=\"q21\" href=\"javascript:openquran(7,67,68)\"><c_q21>{‏ maa kaana linabiyyin 'an yakuwna lahu 'asray hattay yuthkhina fiy al'ardi ‏}</c_q21></a>‏ 'ilay qawlihi ‏<A id=\"q22\" name=\"q22\" href=\"javascript:openquran(7,68,68)\"><c_q22>{‏ lamassakum fiymaa 'akhadhtum ‏}</c_q22></a>‏ mina alfidaa'i thumma 'ahalla lahumu alllahu alghanaa'ima ‏.‏ qaala 'abuw daawuda sami'tu 'ahmada bna hanbalin yus'alu 'ani asmi 'abiy nuwhin faqaala 'ayshin tasna'u biasmihi asmuhu asmun shaniy'un ‏.‏ qaala 'abuw daawuda asmu 'abiy nuwhin quraadun waalssahiyhu 'abdu alrrahmani bnu ghazwaana ‏.‏","arabic_grade":"حسن صحيح","english_urn":826840,"english_bab_name":"Regarding Ransoming Captives With Wealth","english_text":"<p>\n\n‘Umar bin Al Khattab said “During the battle of Badr, the Prophet (saws) took ransom”. Thereupon Allaah Most High sent down “It is not fitting for an Apostle that he should have prisoners of war until he hath thoroughly subdued the land. You look on the temporal goods of this world, but Allaah looketh to the Hereafter”. And Allaah is exalted in might and Wise. Had it not been for a previous ordainment from Allaah, a severe penalty would have reached you for the (ransom) that you took. Allaah then made the spoils of war lawful.\n</p>\n<p>\n\nAbu Dawud said “I heard that Ahmad bin Hanbal was asked about the name of Abu Nuh”. He said “What will you do with his name? His name is a bad one.\n</p>\n<p>\n\nAbu Dawud said “the name of Abu Nuh is Qurad. What is correct is that his name is ‘Abd Al Rahman bin Ghazwan.\n</p>","english_grade":"Hasan Sahih","last_updated":null,"xrefs":""}
