{"id":21131,"collection_id":4,"collection":"abudawud","collection_name":"Sunan Abi Dawud","book_number":"14","bab_id":14.0,"english_bab_number":"780","arabic_bab_number":"14","hadith_number":"2341","our_hadith_number":29,"arabic_urn":923440,"arabic_bab_name":"باب فِي شَهَادَةِ الْوَاحِدِ عَلَى رُؤْيَةِ هِلاَلِ رَمَضَانَ","arabic_text":"حَدَّثَنِي مُوسَى بْنُ إِسْمَاعِيلَ، حَدَّثَنَا حَمَّادٌ، عَنْ سِمَاكِ بْنِ حَرْبٍ، عَنْ عِكْرِمَةَ، أَنَّهُمْ شَكُّوا فِي هِلاَلِ رَمَضَانَ مَرَّةً فَأَرَادُوا أَنْ لاَ يَقُومُوا وَلاَ يَصُومُوا فَجَاءَ أَعْرَابِيٌّ مِنَ الْحَرَّةِ فَشَهِدَ أَنَّهُ رَأَى الْهِلاَلَ فَأُتِيَ بِهِ النَّبِيُّ صلى الله عليه وسلم فَقَالَ ‏\"‏ أَتَشْهَدُ أَنْ لاَ إِلَهَ إِلاَّ اللَّهُ وَأَنِّي رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ‏\"‏ ‏.‏ قَالَ نَعَمْ ‏.‏ وَشَهِدَ أَنَّهُ رَأَى الْهِلاَلَ فَأَمَرَ بِلاَلاً فَنَادَى فِي النَّاسِ أَنْ يَقُومُوا وَأَنْ يَصُومُوا ‏.‏ قَالَ أَبُو دَاوُدَ رَوَاهُ جَمَاعَةٌ عَنْ سِمَاكٍ عَنْ عِكْرِمَةَ مُرْسَلاً وَلَمْ يَذْكُرِ الْقِيَامَ أَحَدٌ إِلاَّ حَمَّادُ بْنُ سَلَمَةَ ‏.‏","arabic_transliteration":"haddathaniy muwsay bnu 'ismaa'iyla، haddathanaa hammaadun، 'an simaaki bni harbin، 'an 'ikrimaha، 'annahum shakkuwa fiy hilaali ramadaana marrahan fa'araaduwa 'an laa yaquwmuwa walaa yasuwmuwa fajaa'a 'a'raabiyyun mina alharrahi fashahida 'annahu ra'ay alhilaala fa'utiya bihi alnnabiyyu sly allh 'lyh wslm faqaala ‏\"‏ 'atashhadu 'an laa 'ilaha 'ilaaa alllahu wa'anniy rasuwlu alllahi ‏\"‏ ‏.‏ qaala na'am ‏.‏ washahida 'annahu ra'ay alhilaala fa'amara bilaalaan fanaaday fiy alnnaasi 'an yaquwmuwa wa'an yasuwmuwa ‏.‏ qaala 'abuw daawuda rawaahu jamaa'ahun 'an simaakin 'an 'ikrimaha mursalaan walam yadhkuri alqiyaama 'ahadun 'ilaaa hammaadu bnu salamaha ‏.‏","arabic_grade":"ضعيف","english_urn":823340,"english_bab_name":"Regarding The Testimony Of A Single Person About Seeing The Crescent Of Ramadan","english_text":"<p>\n\nNarrated Ikrimah:\n</p>\n\n\n\n<p>\n\nOnce the people doubted the appearance of the moon of Ramadan, and intended neither to offer the tarawih prayer nor to keep fast. A bedouin came from al-Harrah and testified that he had sighted the moon. He was brought to the Prophet (saws). He asked: Do you testify that there is no god but Allah, and that I am the Messenger of Allah? He said: Yes; and he testified that he had sighted the moon.
