{"id":20369,"collection_id":4,"collection":"abudawud","collection_name":"Sunan Abi Dawud","book_number":"9","bab_id":5.0,"english_bab_number":"523","arabic_bab_number":"5","hadith_number":"1579","our_hadith_number":24,"arabic_urn":915820,"arabic_bab_name":"باب فِي زَكَاةِ السَّائِمَةِ","arabic_text":"حَدَّثَنَا مُسَدَّدٌ، حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو عَوَانَةَ، عَنْ هِلاَلِ بْنِ خَبَّابٍ، عَنْ مَيْسَرَةَ أَبِي صَالِحٍ، عَنْ سُوَيْدِ بْنِ غَفَلَةَ، قَالَ سِرْتُ أَوْ قَالَ أَخْبَرَنِي مَنْ، سَارَ مَعَ مُصَدِّقِ النَّبِيِّ صلى الله عليه وسلم فَإِذَا فِي عَهْدِ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم ‏\"‏ أَنْ لاَ تَأْخُذْ مِنْ رَاضِعِ لَبَنٍ وَلاَ تَجْمَعْ بَيْنَ مُفْتَرِقٍ وَلاَ تُفَرِّقْ بَيْنَ مُجْتَمِعٍ ‏\"‏ ‏.‏ وَكَانَ إِنَّمَا يَأْتِي الْمِيَاهَ حِينَ تَرِدُ الْغَنَمُ فَيَقُولُ أَدُّوا صَدَقَاتِ أَمْوَالِكُمْ ‏.‏ قَالَ فَعَمَدَ رَجُلٌ مِنْهُمْ إِلَى نَاقَةٍ كَوْمَاءَ - قَالَ - قُلْتُ يَا أَبَا صَالِحٍ مَا الْكَوْمَاءُ قَالَ عَظِيمَةُ السَّنَامِ - قَالَ - فَأَبَى أَنْ يَقْبَلَهَا قَالَ إِنِّي أُحِبُّ أَنْ تَأْخُذَ خَيْرَ إِبِلِي ‏.‏ قَالَ فَأَبَى أَنْ يَقْبَلَهَا قَالَ فَخَطَمَ لَهُ أُخْرَى دُونَهَا فَأَبَى أَنْ يَقْبَلَهَا ثُمَّ خَطَمَ لَهُ أُخْرَى دُونَهَا فَقَبِلَهَا وَقَالَ إِنِّي آخِذُهَا وَأَخَافُ أَنْ يَجِدَ عَلَىَّ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم يَقُولُ لِي عَمَدْتَ إِلَى رَجُلٍ فَتَخَيَّرْتَ عَلَيْهِ إِبِلَهُ ‏.‏ قَالَ أَبُو دَاوُدَ وَرَوَاهُ هُشَيْمٌ عَنْ هِلاَلِ بْنِ خَبَّابٍ نَحْوَهُ إِلاَّ أَنَّهُ قَالَ ‏\"‏ لاَ يُفَرِّقْ ‏\"‏ ‏.‏","arabic_transliteration":"haddathanaa musaddadun، haddathanaa 'abuw 'awaanaha، 'an hilaali bni khabbaabin، 'an maysaraha 'abiy saalihin، 'an suwaydi bni ghafalaha، qaala sirtu 'aw qaala 'akhbaraniy man، saara ma'a musaddiqi alnnabiyyi sly allh 'lyh wslm fa'idhaa fiy 'ahdi rasuwli alllahi sly allh 'lyh wslm ‏\"‏ 'an laa ta'khudh min raadi'i labanin walaa tajma' bayna muftariqin walaa tufarriq bayna mujtami'in ‏\"‏ ‏.‏ wakaana 'innamaa ya'tiy almiyaaha hiyna taridu alghanamu fayaquwlu 'adduwa sadaqaati 'amwaalikum ‏.‏ qaala fa'amada rajulun minhum 'ilay naaqahin kawmaa'a - qaala - qultu yaa 'abaa saalihin maa alkawmaa'u qaala 'aziymahu alssanaami - qaala - fa'abay 'an yaqbalahaa qaala 'inniy 'uhibbu 'an ta'khudha khayra 'ibiliy ‏.‏ qaala fa'abay 'an yaqbalahaa qaala fakhatama lahu 'ukhray duwnahaa fa'abay 'an yaqbalahaa thumma khatama lahu 'ukhray duwnahaa faqabilahaa waqaala 'inniy 'aakhidhuhaa wa'akhaafu 'an yajida 'alayya rasuwlu alllahi sly allh 'lyh wslm yaquwlu liy 'amadta 'ilay rajulin fatakhayyarta 'alayhi 'ibilahu ‏.‏ qaala 'abuw daawuda warawaahu hushaymun 'an hilaali bni khabbaabin nahwahu 'ilaaa 'annahu qaala ‏\"‏ laa yufarriq ‏\"‏ ‏.‏","arabic_grade":"حسن","english_urn":815740,"english_bab_name":"Zakat On Pasturing Animals","english_text":"<p>\n\nSuwayd ibn Ghaflah said: I went myself or someone who accompanied the collector of the Prophet (saws) told me: It was recorded in the document written by the Messenger of Allah (saws) not to accept a milking goat or she-camel or a (suckling) baby (as zakat on animals); and those which are in separate flocks are not to be brought together, and those which are in one flock are not to be separated.  \n</p>\n\n\n<p>\n\nThe collector used to visit the water-hole when the sheep went there and say: Pay the sadaqah (zakat) on your property.  The narrator said: A man wanted to give him his high-humped camel (kawma').  The narrator (Hilal) asked: What is kawma', AbuSalih?  He said: A camel a high hump.  \n</p>\n\n\n<p>\n\nThe narrator continued: He (the collector) refused to accept it. He said: I wish you could take the best of my camels. He refused to accept it. He then brought another camel lower in quality than the previous one. He refused to accept it too. He then brought another camel lower in quality than the previous one. He accepted it, saying: I shall take it, but I am afraid the Messenger of Allah (saws) might be angry with me, saying to me: You have purposely taken from a man a camel of your choice.\n</p>\n\n<p>\nAbu Dawud said: This tradition has also been narrated by Hushaim from Hilal bin Khabbab to the same effect.
