{"id":2003,"collection_id":1,"collection":"bukhari","collection_name":"Sahih al-Bukhari","book_number":"42","bab_id":9.0,"english_bab_number":"9","arabic_bab_number":"9","hadith_number":"2363","our_hadith_number":11,"arabic_urn":122790,"arabic_bab_name":"باب فَضْلِ سَقْىِ الْمَاءِ","arabic_text":"بَيْنَا رَجُلٌ يَمْشِي فَاشْتَدَّ عَلَيْهِ الْعَطَشُ، فَنَزَلَ بِئْرًا فَشَرِبَ مِنْهَا، ثُمَّ خَرَجَ فَإِذَا هُوَ بِكَلْبٍ يَلْهَثُ، يَأْكُلُ الثَّرَى مِنَ الْعَطَشِ، فَقَالَ لَقَدْ بَلَغَ هَذَا مِثْلُ الَّذِي بَلَغَ بِي فَمَلأَ خُفَّهُ ثُمَّ أَمْسَكَهُ بِفِيهِ، ثُمَّ رَقِيَ، فَسَقَى الْكَلْبَ فَشَكَرَ اللَّهُ لَهُ، فَغَفَرَ لَهُ ‏\"‏‏.‏ قَالُوا يَا رَسُولَ اللَّهِ، وَإِنَّ لَنَا فِي الْبَهَائِمِ أَجْرًا قَالَ ‏\"‏ فِي كُلِّ كَبِدٍ رَطْبَةٍ أَجْرٌ ‏\"","arabic_transliteration":"baynaa rajulun yamshiy faashtadda 'alayhi al'atashu، fanazala bi'rana fashariba minhaa، thumma kharaja fa'idhaa huwa bikalbin yalhathu، ya'kulu alththaray mina al'atashi، faqaala laqad balagha hadhaa mithlu alladhiy balagha biy famal'a khuffahu thumma 'amsakahu bifiyhi، thumma raqiya، fasaqay alkalba fashakara alllahu lahu، faghafara lahu ‏\"‏‏.‏ qaaluwa yaa rasuwla alllahi، wa'inna lanaa fiy albahaa'imi 'ajrana qaala ‏\"‏ fiy kulli kabidin ratbahin 'ajrun ‏\"","arabic_grade":"صحيح","english_urn":22150,"english_bab_name":"The superiority of providing water","english_text":"<p>\nNarrated Abu Huraira:\n\n<p>Allah's Apostle said, \"While a man was walking he felt thirsty and went down a well and drank water \nfrom it. On coming out of it, he saw a dog panting and eating mud because of excessive thirst. The \nman said, 'This (dog) is suffering from the same problem as that of mine. So he (went down the well), \nfilled his shoe with water, caught hold of it with his teeth and climbed up and watered the dog. Allah \nthanked him for his (good) deed and forgave him.\" The people asked, \"O Allah's Apostle! Is there a \nreward for us in serving (the) animals?\" He replied, \"Yes, there is a reward for serving any animate.\"","english_grade":"Sahih","last_updated":null,"xrefs":""}
