{"id":20024,"collection_id":4,"collection":"abudawud","collection_name":"Sunan Abi Dawud","book_number":"4","bab_id":10.0,"english_bab_number":"430","arabic_bab_number":"10","hadith_number":"1234","our_hadith_number":37,"arabic_urn":912370,"arabic_bab_name":"باب مَتَى يُتِمُّ الْمُسَافِرُ","arabic_text":"حَدَّثَنَا عُثْمَانُ بْنُ أَبِي شَيْبَةَ، وَابْنُ الْمُثَنَّى، - وَهَذَا لَفْظُ ابْنِ الْمُثَنَّى - قَالاَ حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو أُسَامَةَ، - قَالَ ابْنُ الْمُثَنَّى - قَالَ أَخْبَرَنِي عَبْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ عُمَرَ بْنِ عَلِيِّ بْنِ أَبِي طَالِبٍ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ، عَنْ جَدِّهِ، أَنَّ عَلِيًّا، - رضى الله عنه - كَانَ إِذَا سَافَرَ سَارَ بَعْدَ مَا تَغْرُبُ الشَّمْسُ حَتَّى تَكَادَ أَنْ تُظْلِمَ ثُمَّ يَنْزِلُ فَيُصَلِّي الْمَغْرِبَ ثُمَّ يَدْعُو بِعَشَائِهِ فَيَتَعَشَّى ثُمَّ يُصَلِّي الْعِشَاءَ ثُمَّ يَرْتَحِلُ وَيَقُولُ هَكَذَا كَانَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم يَصْنَعُ ‏.‏ قَالَ عُثْمَانُ عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ عُمَرَ بْنِ عَلِيٍّ سَمِعْتُ أَبَا دَاوُدَ يَقُولُ وَرَوَى أُسَامَةُ بْنُ زَيْدٍ عَنْ حَفْصِ بْنِ عُبَيْدِ اللَّهِ يَعْنِي ابْنَ أَنَسِ بْنِ مَالِكٍ أَنَّ أَنَسًا كَانَ يَجْمَعُ بَيْنَهُمَا حِينَ يَغِيبُ الشَّفَقُ وَيَقُولُ كَانَ النَّبِيُّ صلى الله عليه وسلم يَصْنَعُ ذَلِكَ وَرِوَايَةُ الزُّهْرِيِّ عَنْ أَنَسٍ عَنِ النَّبِيِّ صلى الله عليه وسلم مِثْلُهُ ‏.‏","arabic_transliteration":"haddathanaa 'uthmaanu bnu 'abiy shaybaha، waabnu almuthannay، - wahadhaa lafzu abni almuthannay - qaalaa haddathanaa 'abuw 'usaamaha، - qaala abnu almuthannay - qaala 'akhbaraniy 'abdu alllahi bnu muhammadi bni 'umara bni 'aliyyi bni 'abiy taalibin، 'an 'abiyhi، 'an jaddihi، 'anna 'aliyyana، - rdy allh 'nh - kaana 'idhaa saafara saara ba'da maa taghrubu alshshamsu hattay takaada 'an tuzlima thumma yanzilu fayusalliy almaghriba thumma yad'uw bi'ashaa'ihi fayata'ashshay thumma yusalliy al'ishaa'a thumma yartahilu wayaquwlu hakadhaa kaana rasuwlu alllahi sly allh 'lyh wslm yasna'u ‏.‏ qaala 'uthmaanu 'an 'abdi alllahi bni muhammadi bni 'umara bni 'aliyyin sami'tu 'abaa daawuda yaquwlu waraway 'usaamahu bnu zaydin 'an hafsi bni 'ubaydi alllahi ya'niy abna 'anasi bni maalikin 'anna 'anasana kaana yajma'u baynahumaa hiyna yaghiybu alshshafaqu wayaquwlu kaana alnnabiyyu sly allh 'lyh wslm yasna'u dhalika wariwaayahu alzzuhriyyi 'an 'anasin 'ani alnnabiyyi sly allh 'lyh wslm mithluhu ‏.‏","arabic_grade":"صحيح","english_urn":812300,"english_bab_name":"When Should The Traveler Stop Shortening The Prayer","english_text":"<p>\n\nNarrated Ali ibn AbuTalib ; Anas ibn Malik:\n</p>\n\n\n\n<p>\n\nMuhammad reported from his father, Umar, on the authority of his grandfather, Ali ibn AbuTalib: When Ali travelled, he continued to travel till it became nearly dark. He then alighted and offered the sunset prayer. Then he would call for his dinner and eat it. Then he prayed the night prayer and then moved off.  \n</p>\n\n\n<p>\n\nHe would say: This is how the Messenger of Allah (saws) used to do. \n</p>\n\n\n<p>\n\nUsamah ibn Zayd reported from Hafs ibn Ubaydullah, the son of Anas ibn Malik: Anas would combine them (the evening and night prayer) when the twilight disappeared. \n</p>\n\n\n<p>\n\nHe said: The Prophet (saws) used to do so. Az-Zuhri also reported similarly on the authority of Anas from the Prophet (saws).\n</p>","english_grade":"Sahih","last_updated":null,"xrefs":""}
