{"id":19391,"collection_id":4,"collection":"abudawud","collection_name":"Sunan Abi Dawud","book_number":"2","bab_id":69.0,"english_bab_number":"219","arabic_bab_number":"69","hadith_number":"602","our_hadith_number":212,"arabic_urn":906020,"arabic_bab_name":"باب الإِمَامِ يُصَلِّي مِنْ قُعُودٍ","arabic_text":"حَدَّثَنَا عُثْمَانُ بْنُ أَبِي شَيْبَةَ، حَدَّثَنَا جَرِيرٌ، وَوَكِيعٌ، عَنِ الأَعْمَشِ، عَنْ أَبِي سُفْيَانَ، عَنْ جَابِرٍ، قَالَ رَكِبَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم فَرَسًا بِالْمَدِينَةِ فَصَرَعَهُ عَلَى جِذْمِ نَخْلَةٍ فَانْفَكَّتْ قَدَمُهُ فَأَتَيْنَاهُ نَعُودُهُ فَوَجَدْنَاهُ فِي مَشْرَبَةٍ لِعَائِشَةَ يُسَبِّحُ جَالِسًا قَالَ فَقُمْنَا خَلْفَهُ فَسَكَتَ عَنَّا ثُمَّ أَتَيْنَاهُ مَرَّةً أُخْرَى نَعُودُهُ فَصَلَّى الْمَكْتُوبَةَ جَالِسًا فَقُمْنَا خَلْفَهُ فَأَشَارَ إِلَيْنَا فَقَعَدْنَا ‏.‏ قَالَ فَلَمَّا قَضَى الصَّلاَةَ قَالَ ‏\"‏ إِذَا صَلَّى الإِمَامُ جَالِسًا فَصَلُّوا جُلُوسًا وَإِذَا صَلَّى الإِمَامُ قَائِمًا فَصَلُّوا قِيَامًا وَلاَ تَفْعَلُوا كَمَا يَفْعَلُ أَهْلُ فَارِسَ بِعُظَمَائِهَا ‏\"‏ ‏.‏","arabic_transliteration":"haddathanaa 'uthmaanu bnu 'abiy shaybaha، haddathanaa jariyrun، wawakiy'un، 'ani al'a'mashi، 'an 'abiy sufyaana، 'an jaabirin، qaala rakiba rasuwlu alllahi sly allh 'lyh wslm farasana bialmadiynahi fasara'ahu 'alay jidhmi nakhlahin faanfakkat qadamuhu fa'ataynaahu na'uwduhu fawajadnaahu fiy mashrabahin li'aa'ishaha yusabbihu jaalisana qaala faqumnaa khalfahu fasakata 'annaa thumma 'ataynaahu marrahan 'ukhray na'uwduhu fasallay almaktuwbaha jaalisana faqumnaa khalfahu fa'ashaara 'ilaynaa faqa'adnaa ‏.‏ qaala falammaa qaday alssalaaha qaala ‏\"‏ 'idhaa sallay al'imaamu jaalisana fasalluwa juluwsana wa'idhaa sallay al'imaamu qaa'imana fasalluwa qiyaamana walaa taf'aluwa kamaa yaf'alu 'ahlu faarisa bi'uzamaa'ihaa ‏\"‏ ‏.‏","arabic_grade":"صحيح","english_urn":806020,"english_bab_name":"About The Imam Praying While Sitting Down","english_text":"<p>\n\nNarrated Jabir ibn Abdullah:\n</p>\n\n\n\n<p>\n\nThe Messenger of Allah (saws) rode a horse in Medina. It threw him off at the root of a date-palm. His foot was injured. We visited him to inquire about his illness. We found him praying sitting in the apartment of Aisha. We, therefore, stood, (praying) behind him. He kept silent. \n</p>\n\n\n<p>\n\nWe again visited him to inquire about his illness. He offered the obligatory prayer sitting. We, therefore, stood (praying) behind him; he made a sign to us and we sat down. When he finished the prayer, he said: When the imam prays sitting, pray sitting; and when the imam prays standing, pray standing, and do not act as the people of Persia used to act with their chiefs (i.e. the people stood and they were sitting).\n</p>","english_grade":"Sahih","last_updated":null,"xrefs":""}
