{"id":19308,"collection_id":4,"collection":"abudawud","collection_name":"Sunan Abi Dawud","book_number":"2","bab_id":33.0,"english_bab_number":"183","arabic_bab_number":"33","hadith_number":"519","our_hadith_number":129,"arabic_urn":905190,"arabic_bab_name":"باب الأَذَانِ فَوْقَ الْمَنَارَةِ","arabic_text":"حَدَّثَنَا أَحْمَدُ بْنُ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ أَيُّوبَ، حَدَّثَنَا إِبْرَاهِيمُ بْنُ سَعْدٍ، عَنْ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ إِسْحَاقَ، عَنْ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ جَعْفَرِ بْنِ الزُّبَيْرِ، عَنْ عُرْوَةَ بْنِ الزُّبَيْرِ، عَنِ امْرَأَةٍ، مِنْ بَنِي النَّجَّارِ قَالَتْ كَانَ بَيْتِي مِنْ أَطْوَلِ بَيْتٍ حَوْلَ الْمَسْجِدِ وَكَانَ بِلاَلٌ يُؤَذِّنُ عَلَيْهِ الْفَجْرَ فَيَأْتِي بِسَحَرٍ فَيَجْلِسُ عَلَى الْبَيْتِ يَنْظُرُ إِلَى الْفَجْرِ فَإِذَا رَآهُ تَمَطَّى ثُمَّ قَالَ اللَّهُمَّ إِنِّي أَحْمَدُكَ وَأَسْتَعِينُكَ عَلَى قُرَيْشٍ أَنْ يُقِيمُوا دِينَكَ قَالَتْ ثُمَّ يُؤَذِّنُ قَالَتْ وَاللَّهِ مَا عَلِمْتُهُ كَانَ تَرَكَهَا لَيْلَةً وَاحِدَةً تَعْنِي هَذِهِ الْكَلِمَاتِ ‏.‏","arabic_transliteration":"haddathanaa 'ahmadu bnu muhammadi bni 'ayyuwba، haddathanaa 'ibraahiymu bnu sa'din، 'an muhammadi bni 'ishaaqa، 'an muhammadi bni ja'fari bni alzzubayri، 'an 'urwaha bni alzzubayri، 'ani amra'ahin، min baniy alnnajjaari qaalat kaana baytiy min 'atwali baytin hawla almasjidi wakaana bilaalun yu'adhdhinu 'alayhi alfajra faya'tiy bisaharin fayajlisu 'alay albayti yanzuru 'ilay alfajri fa'idhaa ra'aahu tamattay thumma qaala alllahumma 'inniy 'ahmaduka wa'asta'iynuka 'alay qurayshin 'an yuqiymuwa diynaka qaalat thumma yu'adhdhinu qaalat waalllahi maa 'alimtuhu kaana tarakahaa laylahan waahidahan ta'niy hadhihi alkalimaati ‏.‏","arabic_grade":"حسن","english_urn":805190,"english_bab_name":"Calling The Adhan From Atop A Minaret","english_text":"<p>\n\nNarrated A woman from Banu an-Najjar:\n</p>\n\n\n\n<p>\n\nUrwah ibn az-Zubayr reported on the authority of a woman from Banu an-Najjar. She said: My house was the loftiest of all the houses around the mosque (of the Prophet at Medina). Bilal used to make a call to the morning prayer from it. He would come there before the break of dawn and wait for it. When he saw it, he would yawn and say: O Allah, I praise you and seek Your assistance for the Quraysh so that they might establish Thine religion.  He then would make the call to prayer. \n</p>\n\n\n<p>\n\nShe (the narrator) said: By Allah, I do not know whether he ever left saying these words on any night.\n</p>","english_grade":"Hasan","last_updated":null,"xrefs":""}
