{"id":18931,"collection_id":4,"collection":"abudawud","book_number":"1","bab_id":55.0,"english_bab_number":"56","arabic_bab_number":"55","hadith_number":"142","our_hadith_number":142,"arabic_urn":901420,"arabic_bab_name":"باب فِي الاِسْتِنْثَارِ","arabic_text":"حَدَّثَنَا قُتَيْبَةُ بْنُ سَعِيدٍ، - فِي آخَرِينَ - قَالُوا حَدَّثَنَا يَحْيَى بْنُ سُلَيْمٍ، عَنْ إِسْمَاعِيلَ بْنِ كَثِيرٍ، عَنْ عَاصِمِ بْنِ لَقِيطِ بْنِ صَبْرَةَ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ، لَقِيطِ بْنِ صَبْرَةَ قَالَ كُنْتُ وَافِدَ بَنِي الْمُنْتَفِقِ - أَوْ فِي وَفْدِ بَنِي الْمُنْتَفِقِ - إِلَى رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم قَالَ فَلَمَّا قَدِمْنَا عَلَى رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم فَلَمْ نُصَادِفْهُ فِي مَنْزِلِهِ وَصَادَفْنَا عَائِشَةَ أُمَّ الْمُؤْمِنِينَ قَالَ فَأَمَرَتْ لَنَا بِخَزِيرَةٍ فَصُنِعَتْ لَنَا قَالَ وَأُتِينَا بِقِنَاعٍ - وَلَمْ يَقُلْ قُتَيْبَةُ الْقِنَاعَ وَالْقِنَاعُ الطَّبَقُ فِيهِ تَمْرٌ - ثُمَّ جَاءَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم فَقَالَ ‏\"‏ هَلْ أَصَبْتُمْ شَيْئًا أَوْ أُمِرَ لَكُمْ بِشَىْءٍ ‏\"‏ ‏.‏ قَالَ قُلْنَا نَعَمْ يَا رَسُولَ اللَّهِ ‏.‏ قَالَ فَبَيْنَا نَحْنُ مَعَ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم جُلُوسٌ إِذْ دَفَعَ الرَّاعِي غَنَمَهُ إِلَى الْمُرَاحِ وَمَعَهُ سَخْلَةٌ تَيْعَرُ فَقَالَ ‏\"‏ مَا وَلَّدْتَ يَا فُلاَنُ ‏\"‏ ‏.‏ قَالَ بَهْمَةً ‏.‏ قَالَ فَاذْبَحْ لَنَا مَكَانَهَا شَاةً ‏.‏ ثُمَّ قَالَ لاَ تَحْسِبَنَّ - وَلَمْ يَقُلْ لاَ تَحْسَبَنَّ - أَنَّا مِنْ أَجْلِكَ ذَبَحْنَاهَا لَنَا غَنَمٌ مِائَةٌ لاَ نُرِيدُ أَنْ تَزِيدَ فَإِذَا وَلَّدَ الرَّاعِي بَهْمَةً ذَبَحْنَا مَكَانَهَا شَاةً ‏.‏ قَالَ قُلْتُ يَا رَسُولَ اللَّهِ إِنَّ لِي امْرَأَةً وَإِنَّ فِي لِسَانِهَا شَيْئًا يَعْنِي الْبَذَاءَ ‏.‏ قَالَ ‏\"‏ فَطَلِّقْهَا إِذًا ‏\"‏ ‏.‏ قَالَ قُلْتُ يَا رَسُولَ اللَّهِ إِنَّ لَهَا صُحْبَةً وَلِي مِنْهَا وَلَدٌ ‏.‏ قَالَ ‏\"‏ فَمُرْهَا - يَقُولُ عِظْهَا - فَإِنْ يَكُ فِيهَا خَيْرٌ فَسَتَفْعَلُ وَلاَ تَضْرِبْ ظَعِينَتَكَ كَضَرْبِكَ أُمَيَّتَكَ ‏\"‏ ‏.‏ فَقُلْتُ يَا رَسُولَ اللَّهِ أَخْبِرْنِي عَنِ الْوُضُوءِ ‏.‏ قَالَ ‏\"‏ أَسْبِغِ الْوُضُوءَ وَخَلِّلْ بَيْنَ الأَصَابِعِ وَبَالِغْ فِي الاِسْتِنْشَاقِ إِلاَّ أَنْ تَكُونَ صَائِمًا ‏\"‏ ‏.‏","arabic_transliteration":"haddathanaa qutaybahu bnu sa'iydin، - fiy 'aakhariyna - qaaluwa haddathanaa yahyay bnu sulaymin، 'an 'ismaa'iyla bni kathiyrin، 'an 'aasimi bni laqiyti bni sabraha، 'an 'abiyhi، laqiyti bni sabraha qaala kuntu waafida baniy almuntafiqi - 'aw fiy wafdi baniy almuntafiqi - 'ilay rasuwli alllahi sly allh 'lyh wslm qaala falammaa qadimnaa 'alay rasuwli alllahi sly allh 'lyh wslm falam nusaadifhu fiy manzilihi wasaadafnaa 'aa'ishaha 'umma almu'miniyna qaala fa'amarat lanaa bikhaziyrahin fasuni'at lanaa qaala wa'utiynaa biqinaa'in - walam yaqul qutaybahu alqinaa'a waalqinaa'u alttabaqu fiyhi tamrun - thumma jaa'a rasuwlu alllahi sly allh 'lyh wslm faqaala ‏\"‏ hal 'asabtum shay'ana 'aw 'umira lakum bishay'in ‏\"‏ ‏.‏ qaala qulnaa na'am yaa rasuwla alllahi ‏.‏ qaala fabaynaa nahnu ma'a rasuwli alllahi sly allh 'lyh wslm juluwsun 'idh dafa'a alrraa'iy ghanamahu 'ilay almuraahi wama'ahu sakhlahun tay'aru faqaala ‏\"‏ maa walladta yaa fulaanu ‏\"‏ ‏.‏ qaala bahmahan ‏.‏ qaala faadhbah lanaa makaanahaa shaahan ‏.‏ thumma qaala laa tahsibanna - walam yaqul laa tahsabanna - 'annaa min 'ajlika dhabahnaahaa lanaa ghanamun mia'ahun laa nuriydu 'an taziyda fa'idhaa wallada alrraa'iy bahmahan dhabahnaa makaanahaa shaahan ‏.‏ qaala qultu yaa rasuwla alllahi 'inna liy amra'ahan wa'inna fiy lisaanihaa shay'ana ya'niy albadhaa'a ‏.‏ qaala ‏\"‏ fatalliqhaa 'idhana ‏\"‏ ‏.‏ qaala qultu yaa rasuwla alllahi 'inna lahaa suhbahan waliy minhaa waladun ‏.‏ qaala ‏\"‏ famurhaa - yaquwlu 'izhaa - fa'in yaku fiyhaa khayrun fasataf'alu walaa tadrib za'iynataka kadarbika 'umayyataka ‏\"‏ ‏.‏ faqultu yaa rasuwla alllahi 'akhbirniy 'ani alwuduw'i ‏.‏ qaala ‏\"‏ 'asbighi alwuduw'a wakhallil bayna al'asaabi'i wabaaligh fiy alaistinshaaqi 'ilaaa 'an takuwna saa'imana ‏\"‏ ‏.‏","arabic_grade":"صحيح","english_urn":801420,"english_bab_name":"On Al-Istinthar (Blowing Water From The Nose)","english_text":"<p>\n\nNarrated Laqit ibn Sabirah:\n</p>\n\n\n\n<p>\n\nI was the leader of the delegation of Banu al-Muntafiq or (the narrator doubted) I was among the delegation of Banu al-Muntafiq that came to the Messenger of Allah (saws). When we reached the Prophet, we did not find him in his house. We found there Aisha, the Mother of the Believers. She ordered that a dish called Khazirah should be prepared for us. It was then prepared. A tray containing dates was then presented to us. (The narrator Qutaybah did not mention the word qina', tray). \n</p>\n\n\n<p>\n\nThen the Messenger of Allah (saws) came. He asked: Has anything been served to you or ordered for you?  We replied: Yes, Messenger of Allah. While we were sitting in the company of the Messenger of Allah (saws) we suddenly saw that a shepherd was driving a herd of sheep to their fold. He had with him a newly-born lamb that was crying. \n</p>\n\n\n<p>\n\nHe (the Prophet) asked him: What did it bear, O so and so? He replied: A ewe. He then said: Slaughter for us in its place a sheep. Do not think that we are slaughtering it for you. We have one hundred sheep and we do not want their number to increase. Whenever a ewe is born, we slaughter a sheep in its place. \n</p>\n\n\n<p>\n\n(The narrator says that the Prophet (saws) used the word la tahsabanna, do not think). \n</p>\n\n\n<p>\n\nI (the narrator Laqit) then said: Messenger of Allah, I have a wife who has something (wrong) in her tongue, i.e. she is insolent. He said: Then divorce her. I said: Messenger of Allah, she had company with me and I have children from her. He said: Then ask her (to obey you). If there is something good in her, she will do so (obey); and do not beat your wife as you beat your slave-girl. \n</p>\n\n\n<p>\n\nI said: Messenger of Allah, tell me about ablution. He said: Perform ablution in full and make the fingers go through the beard and snuff with water well except when you are fasting.\n</p>","english_grade":"Sahih","last_updated":null,"xrefs":""}
