{"id":18837,"collection_id":4,"collection":"abudawud","book_number":"1","bab_id":25.0,"english_bab_number":"25","arabic_bab_number":"25","hadith_number":"48","our_hadith_number":48,"arabic_urn":900480,"arabic_bab_name":"باب السِّوَاكِ","arabic_text":"حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عَوْفٍ الطَّائِيُّ، حَدَّثَنَا أَحْمَدُ بْنُ خَالِدٍ، حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ إِسْحَاقَ، عَنْ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ يَحْيَى بْنِ حَبَّانَ، عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ عُمَرَ، قَالَ قُلْتُ أَرَأَيْتَ تَوَضُّؤَ ابْنِ عُمَرَ لِكُلِّ صَلاَةٍ طَاهِرًا وَغَيْرَ طَاهِرٍ عَمَّ ذَاكَ فَقَالَ حَدَّثَتْنِيهِ أَسْمَاءُ بِنْتُ زَيْدِ بْنِ الْخَطَّابِ أَنَّ عَبْدَ اللَّهِ بْنَ حَنْظَلَةَ بْنِ أَبِي عَامِرٍ حَدَّثَهَا أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم أُمِرَ بِالْوُضُوءِ لِكُلِّ صَلاَةٍ طَاهِرًا وَغَيْرَ طَاهِرٍ فَلَمَّا شَقَّ ذَلِكَ عَلَيْهِ أُمِرَ بِالسِّوَاكِ لِكُلِّ صَلاَةٍ فَكَانَ ابْنُ عُمَرَ يَرَى أَنَّ بِهِ قُوَّةً فَكَانَ لاَ يَدَعُ الْوُضُوءَ لِكُلِّ صَلاَةٍ ‏.‏ قَالَ أَبُو دَاوُدَ إِبْرَاهِيمُ بْنُ سَعْدٍ رَوَاهُ عَنْ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ إِسْحَاقَ قَالَ عُبَيْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ ‏.‏","arabic_transliteration":"haddathanaa muhammadu bnu 'awfin alttaa'iyyu، haddathanaa 'ahmadu bnu khaalidin، haddathanaa muhammadu bnu 'ishaaqa، 'an muhammadi bni yahyay bni habbaana، 'an 'abdi alllahi bni 'abdi alllahi bni 'umara، qaala qultu 'ara'ayta tawaddu'a abni 'umara likulli salaahin taahirana waghayra taahirin 'amma dhaaka faqaala haddathatniyhi 'asmaa'u bintu zaydi bni alkhattaabi 'anna 'abda alllahi bna hanzalaha bni 'abiy 'aamirin haddathahaa 'anna rasuwla alllahi sly allh 'lyh wslm 'umira bialwuduw'i likulli salaahin taahirana waghayra taahirin falammaa shaqqa dhalika 'alayhi 'umira bialssiwaaki likulli salaahin fakaana abnu 'umara yaray 'anna bihi quwwahan fakaana laa yada'u alwuduw'a likulli salaahin ‏.‏ qaala 'abuw daawuda 'ibraahiymu bnu sa'din rawaahu 'an muhammadi bni 'ishaaqa qaala 'ubaydu alllahi bnu 'abdi alllahi ‏.‏","arabic_grade":"حسن","english_urn":800480,"english_bab_name":"The Siwak","english_text":"<p>\n\nNarrated Abdullah b. 'Abd Allah b. 'Umar:\n</p>\n\n\n\n<p>\n\nMuhammad ibn Yahya ibn Habban asked Abdullah ibn Abdullah ibn Umar about the reason for Ibn Umar's performing ablution for every prayer, whether he was with or without ablution. \n</p>\n\n\n<p>\n\nHe replied: Asma', daughter of Zayd ibn al-Khattab, reported to me that Abdullah ibn Hanzalah ibn AbuAmir narrated to her that the Messenger of Allah (saws) was earlier commanded to perform ablution for every prayer whether or not he was with ablution. \n</p>\n\n\n<p>\n\nWhen it became a burden for him, he was ordered to use tooth-stick for every prayer. As Ibn Umar thought that he had the strength (to perform the ablution for every prayer), he did not give up performing ablution for every prayer.\n</p>\n\n<p>\nAbu Dawud said: Ibrahim b. Sa'd narrated this tradition on the authority of Muhammad b. Ishaq, and there he mentions the name of 'Ubaid Allah b. 'Abd Allah (instead of 'Abd Allah b. 'Abd Allah b.
