{"id":1752,"collection_id":1,"collection":"bukhari","collection_name":"Sahih al-Bukhari","book_number":"34","bab_id":31.0,"english_bab_number":"31","arabic_bab_number":"31","hadith_number":"2093","our_hadith_number":46,"arabic_urn":120080,"arabic_bab_name":"باب ذِكْرِ النَّسَّاجِ","arabic_text":"أَتَدْرُونَ مَا الْبُرْدَةُ فَقِيلَ لَهُ نَعَمْ، هِيَ الشَّمْلَةُ، مَنْسُوجٌ فِي حَاشِيَتِهَا ـ قَالَتْ يَا رَسُولَ اللَّهِ، إِنِّي نَسَجْتُ هَذِهِ بِيَدِي أَكْسُوكَهَا‏.‏ فَأَخَذَهَا النَّبِيُّ صلى الله عليه وسلم مُحْتَاجًا إِلَيْهَا‏.‏ فَخَرَجَ إِلَيْنَا وَإِنَّهَا إِزَارُهُ‏.‏ فَقَالَ رَجُلٌ مِنَ الْقَوْمِ يَا رَسُولَ اللَّهِ، اكْسُنِيهَا، فَقَالَ ‏\"‏ نَعَمْ ‏\"‏‏.‏ فَجَلَسَ النَّبِيُّ صلى الله عليه وسلم فِي الْمَجْلِسِ، ثُمَّ رَجَعَ فَطَوَاهَا، ثُمَّ أَرْسَلَ بِهَا إِلَيْهِ‏.‏ فَقَالَ لَهُ الْقَوْمُ مَا أَحْسَنْتَ، سَأَلْتَهَا إِيَّاهُ، لَقَدْ عَلِمْتَ أَنَّهُ لاَ يَرُدُّ سَائِلاً‏.‏ فَقَالَ الرَّجُلُ وَاللَّهِ مَا سَأَلْتُهُ إِلاَّ لِتَكُونَ كَفَنِي يَوْمَ أَمُوتُ","arabic_transliteration":"'atadruwna maa alburdahu faqiyla lahu na'am، hiya alshshamlahu، mansuwjun fiy haashiyatihaa  qaalat yaa rasuwla alllahi، 'inniy nasajtu hadhihi biyadiy 'aksuwkahaa‏.‏ fa'akhadhahaa alnnabiyyu sly allh 'lyh wslm muhtaajana 'ilayhaa‏.‏ fakharaja 'ilaynaa wa'innahaa 'izaaruhu‏.‏ faqaala rajulun mina alqawmi yaa rasuwla alllahi، aksuniyhaa، faqaala ‏\"‏ na'am ‏\"‏‏.‏ fajalasa alnnabiyyu sly allh 'lyh wslm fiy almajlisi، thumma raja'a fatawaahaa، thumma 'arsala bihaa 'ilayhi‏.‏ faqaala lahu alqawmu maa 'ahsanta، sa'altahaa 'iyyaahu، laqad 'alimta 'annahu laa yaruddu saa'ilaan‏.‏ faqaala alrrajulu waalllahi maa sa'altuhu 'ilaaa litakuwna kafaniy yawma 'amuwtu","arabic_grade":"صحيح","english_urn":19680,"english_bab_name":"The weaver","english_text":"<p>\nNarrated Abu Hazim:\n\n<p>I heard Sahl bin Sa`d saying, \"A woman brought a Burda (i.e. a square piece of cloth having edging). I \nasked, 'Do you know what a Burda is?' They replied in the affirmative and said, \"It is a cloth sheet \nwith woven margins.\" Sahl went on, \"She addressed the Prophet and said, 'I have woven it with my \nhands for you to wear.' The Prophet took it as he was in need of it, and came to us wearing it as a \nwaist sheet. One of us said, 'O Allah's Apostle! Give it to me to wear.' The Prophet agreed to give it to \nhim. The Prophet sat with the people for a while and then returned (home), wrapped that waist sheet \nand sent it to him. The people said to that man, 'You haven't done well by asking him for it when you \nknow that he never turns down anybody's request.' The man replied, 'By Allah, I have not asked him \nfor it except to use it as my shroud when I die.\" Sahl added; \"Later it (i.e. that sheet) was his shroud.\"","english_grade":"Sahih","last_updated":null,"xrefs":""}
