{"id":146,"collection_id":1,"collection":"bukhari","collection_name":"Sahih al-Bukhari","book_number":"4","bab_id":13.0,"english_bab_number":"13","arabic_bab_number":"13","hadith_number":"146","our_hadith_number":12,"arabic_urn":101460,"arabic_bab_name":"باب خُرُوجِ النِّسَاءِ إِلَى الْبَرَازِ","arabic_text":"أَنَّ أَزْوَاجَ النَّبِيِّ، صلى الله عليه وسلم كُنَّ يَخْرُجْنَ بِاللَّيْلِ إِذَا تَبَرَّزْنَ إِلَى الْمَنَاصِعِ ـ وَهُوَ صَعِيدٌ أَفْيَحُ ـ فَكَانَ عُمَرُ يَقُولُ لِلنَّبِيِّ صلى الله عليه وسلم احْجُبْ نِسَاءَكَ‏.‏ فَلَمْ يَكُنْ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم يَفْعَلُ، فَخَرَجَتْ سَوْدَةُ بِنْتُ زَمْعَةَ زَوْجُ النَّبِيِّ صلى الله عليه وسلم لَيْلَةً مِنَ اللَّيَالِي عِشَاءً، وَكَانَتِ امْرَأَةً طَوِيلَةً، فَنَادَاهَا عُمَرُ أَلاَ قَدْ عَرَفْنَاكِ يَا سَوْدَةُ‏.‏ حِرْصًا عَلَى أَنْ يَنْزِلَ الْحِجَابُ، فَأَنْزَلَ اللَّهُ آيَةَ الْحِجَابِ","arabic_transliteration":"'anna 'azwaaja alnnabiyyi، sly allh 'lyh wslm kunna yakhrujna bialllayli 'idhaa tabarrazna 'ilay almanaasi'i  wahuwa sa'iydun 'afyahu  fakaana 'umaru yaquwlu lilnnabiyyi sly allh 'lyh wslm ahjub nisaa'aka‏.‏ falam yakun rasuwlu alllahi sly allh 'lyh wslm yaf'alu، fakharajat sawdahu bintu zam'aha zawju alnnabiyyi sly allh 'lyh wslm laylahan mina alllayaaliy 'ishaa'an، wakaanati amra'ahan tawiylahan، fanaadaahaa 'umaru 'alaa qad 'arafnaaki yaa sawdahu‏.‏ hirsana 'alay 'an yanzila alhijaabu، fa'anzala alllahu 'aayaha alhijaabi","arabic_grade":"صحيح","english_urn":1490,"english_bab_name":"The going out of women for answering the call of nature","english_text":"<p>\nNarrated `Aisha:\n\n<p>The wives of the Prophet used to go to Al-Manasi, a vast open place (near Baqi` at Medina) to answer \nthe call of nature at night. `Umar used to say to the Prophet \"Let your wives be veiled,\" but Allah's \nApostle did not do so. One night Sauda bint Zam`a the wife of the Prophet went out at `Isha' time and \nshe was a tall lady. `Umar addressed her and said, \"I have recognized you, O Sauda.\" He said so, as he \ndesired eagerly that the verses of Al-Hijab (the observing of veils by the Muslim women) may be \nrevealed. So Allah revealed the verses of \"Al-Hijab\" (A complete body cover excluding the eyes).","english_grade":"Sahih","last_updated":null,"xrefs":""}
