{"id":1312,"collection_id":1,"collection":"bukhari","collection_name":"Sahih al-Bukhari","book_number":"25","bab_id":75.0,"english_bab_number":"75","arabic_bab_number":"75","hadith_number":"1635","our_hadith_number":118,"arabic_urn":115380,"arabic_bab_name":"باب سِقَايَةِ الْحَاجِّ","arabic_text":"جَاءَ إِلَى السِّقَايَةِ، فَاسْتَسْقَى، فَقَالَ الْعَبَّاسُ يَا فَضْلُ اذْهَبْ إِلَى أُمِّكَ، فَأْتِ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم بِشَرَابٍ مِنْ عِنْدِهَا‏.‏ فَقَالَ ‏\"‏ اسْقِنِي ‏\"‏‏.‏ قَالَ يَا رَسُولَ اللَّهِ إِنَّهُمْ يَجْعَلُونَ أَيْدِيَهُمْ فِيهِ‏.‏ قَالَ ‏\"‏ اسْقِنِي ‏\"‏‏.‏ فَشَرِبَ مِنْهُ، ثُمَّ أَتَى زَمْزَمَ، وَهُمْ يَسْقُونَ وَيَعْمَلُونَ فِيهَا، فَقَالَ ‏\"‏ اعْمَلُوا، فَإِنَّكُمْ عَلَى عَمَلٍ صَالِحٍ ـ ثُمَّ قَالَ ـ لَوْلاَ أَنْ تُغْلَبُوا لَنَزَلْتُ حَتَّى أَضَعَ الْحَبْلَ عَلَى هَذِهِ ‏\"‏‏.‏ ـ يَعْنِي عَاتِقَهُ ـ وَأَشَارَ إِلَى عَاتِقِهِ‏.‏","arabic_transliteration":"jaa'a 'ilay alssiqaayahi، faastasqay، faqaala al'abbaasu yaa fadlu adhhab 'ilay 'ummika، fa'ti rasuwla alllahi sly allh 'lyh wslm bisharaabin min 'indihaa‏.‏ faqaala ‏\"‏ asqiniy ‏\"‏‏.‏ qaala yaa rasuwla alllahi 'innahum yaj'aluwna 'aydiyahum fiyhi‏.‏ qaala ‏\"‏ asqiniy ‏\"‏‏.‏ fashariba minhu، thumma 'atay zamzama، wahum yasquwna waya'maluwna fiyhaa، faqaala ‏\"‏ a'maluwa، fa'innakum 'alay 'amalin saalihin  thumma qaala  lawlaa 'an tughlabuwa lanazaltu hattay 'ada'a alhabla 'alay hadhihi ‏\"‏‏.‏  ya'niy 'aatiqahu  wa'ashaara 'ilay 'aatiqihi‏.‏","arabic_grade":"صحيح","english_urn":15390,"english_bab_name":"Providing the pilgrims with water to drink","english_text":"<p>\nNarrated Ibn `Abbas:\n\n<p>Allah's Apostle came to the drinking place and asked for water. Al-Abbas said, \"O Fadl! Go to your \nmother and bring water from her for Allah's Apostle .\" Allah's Apostle said, \"Give me water to drink.\" \nAl-Abbas said, \"O Allah's Apostle! The people put their hands in it.\" Allah's Apostle again said, 'Give \nme water to drink. So, he drank from that water and then went to the Zamzam (well) and there the \npeople were offering water to the others and working at it (drawing water from the well). The Prophet \nthen said to them, \"Carry on! You are doing a good deed.\" Then he said, \"Were I not afraid that other \npeople would compete with you (in drawing water from Zamzam), I would certainly take the rope and \nput it over this (i.e. his shoulder) (to draw water).\" On saying that the Prophet pointed to his shoulder.","english_grade":"Sahih","last_updated":null,"xrefs":""}
