{"id":1178,"collection_id":1,"collection":"bukhari","collection_name":"Sahih al-Bukhari","book_number":"24","bab_id":63.0,"english_bab_number":"63","arabic_bab_number":"63","hadith_number":"1496","our_hadith_number":96,"arabic_urn":113990,"arabic_bab_name":"باب أَخْذِ الصَّدَقَةِ مِنَ الأَغْنِيَاءِ وَتُرَدَّ فِي الْفُقَرَاءِ حَيْثُ كَانُوا","arabic_text":"إِنَّكَ سَتَأْتِي قَوْمًا أَهْلَ كِتَابٍ، فَإِذَا جِئْتَهُمْ فَادْعُهُمْ إِلَى أَنْ يَشْهَدُوا أَنْ لاَ إِلَهَ إِلاَّ اللَّهُ وَأَنَّ مُحَمَّدًا رَسُولُ اللَّهِ، فَإِنْ هُمْ أَطَاعُوا لَكَ بِذَلِكَ، فَأَخْبِرْهُمْ أَنَّ اللَّهَ قَدْ فَرَضَ عَلَيْهِمْ خَمْسَ صَلَوَاتٍ فِي كُلِّ يَوْمٍ وَلَيْلَةٍ، فَإِنْ هُمْ أَطَاعُوا لَكَ بِذَلِكَ فَأَخْبِرْهُمْ أَنَّ اللَّهَ قَدْ فَرَضَ عَلَيْهِمْ صَدَقَةً تُؤْخَذُ مِنْ أَغْنِيَائِهِمْ فَتُرَدُّ عَلَى فُقَرَائِهِمْ، فَإِنْ هُمْ أَطَاعُوا لَكَ بِذَلِكَ فَإِيَّاكَ وَكَرَائِمَ أَمْوَالِهِمْ، وَاتَّقِ دَعْوَةَ الْمَظْلُومِ، فَإِنَّهُ لَيْسَ بَيْنَهُ وَبَيْنَ اللَّهِ حِجَابٌ ‏\"","arabic_transliteration":"'innaka sata'tiy qawmana 'ahla kitaabin، fa'idhaa ji'tahum faad'uhum 'ilay 'an yashhaduwa 'an laa 'ilaha 'ilaaa alllahu wa'anna muhammadana rasuwlu alllahi، fa'in hum 'ataa'uwa laka bidhalika، fa'akhbirhum 'anna alllaha qad farada 'alayhim khamsa salawaatin fiy kulli yawmin walaylahin، fa'in hum 'ataa'uwa laka bidhalika fa'akhbirhum 'anna alllaha qad farada 'alayhim sadaqahan tu'khadhu min 'aghniyaa'ihim faturaddu 'alay fuqaraa'ihim، fa'in hum 'ataa'uwa laka bidhalika fa'iyyaaka wakaraa'ima 'amwaalihim، waattaqi da'waha almazluwmi، fa'innahu laysa baynahu wabayna alllahi hijaabun ‏\"","arabic_grade":"صحيح","english_urn":14110,"english_bab_name":"Zakat should be taken from the rich and given to the poor","english_text":"<p>\nNarrated Abu Ma`bad:\n\n<p>(the slave of Ibn `Abbas) Allah's Apostle said to Mu`adh when he sent him to Yemen, \"You will go to \nthe people of the Scripture. So, when you reach there, invite them to testify that none has the right to \nbe worshipped but Allah, and that Muhammad is His Apostle. And if they obey you in that, tell them \nthat Allah has enjoined on them five prayers in each day and night. And if they obey you in that tell \nthem that Allah has made it obligatory on them to pay the Zakat which will be taken from the rich \namong them and given to the poor among them. If they obey you in that, then avoid taking the best of \ntheir possessions, and be afraid of the curse of an oppressed person because there is no screen between \nhis invocation and Allah.\"","english_grade":"Sahih","last_updated":null,"xrefs":""}
