{"id":1150,"collection_id":1,"collection":"bukhari","collection_name":"Sahih al-Bukhari","book_number":"24","bab_id":48.0,"english_bab_number":"48","arabic_bab_number":"48","hadith_number":"1466","our_hadith_number":68,"arabic_urn":113670,"arabic_bab_name":"باب الزَّكَاةِ عَلَى الزَّوْجِ وَالأَيْتَامِ فِي الْحَجْرِ","arabic_text":"تَصَدَّقْنَ وَلَوْ مِنْ حُلِيِّكُنَّ ‏\"‏‏.‏ وَكَانَتْ زَيْنَبُ تُنْفِقُ عَلَى عَبْدِ اللَّهِ وَأَيْتَامٍ فِي حَجْرِهَا، قَالَ فَقَالَتْ لِعَبْدِ اللَّهِ سَلْ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم أَيَجْزِي عَنِّي أَنْ أُنْفِقَ عَلَيْكَ وَعَلَى أَيْتَامِي فِي حَجْرِي مِنَ الصَّدَقَةِ فَقَالَ سَلِي أَنْتِ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم‏.‏ فَانْطَلَقْتُ إِلَى النَّبِيِّ صلى الله عليه وسلم‏.‏ فَوَجَدْتُ امْرَأَةً مِنَ الأَنْصَارِ عَلَى الْبَابِ، حَاجَتُهَا مِثْلُ حَاجَتِي، فَمَرَّ عَلَيْنَا بِلاَلٌ فَقُلْنَا سَلِ النَّبِيَّ صلى الله عليه وسلم أَيَجْزِي عَنِّي أَنْ أُنْفِقَ عَلَى زَوْجِي وَأَيْتَامٍ لِي فِي حَجْرِي وَقُلْنَا لاَ تُخْبِرْ بِنَا‏.‏ فَدَخَلَ فَسَأَلَهُ فَقَالَ ‏\"‏ مَنْ هُمَا ‏\"‏‏.‏ قَالَ زَيْنَبُ قَالَ ‏\"‏ أَىُّ الزَّيَانِبِ ‏\"‏‏.‏ قَالَ امْرَأَةُ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ‏.‏ قَالَ ‏\"‏ نَعَمْ لَهَا أَجْرَانِ أَجْرُ الْقَرَابَةِ وَأَجْرُ الصَّدَقَةِ ‏\"","arabic_transliteration":"tasaddaqna walaw min huliyyikunna ‏\"‏‏.‏ wakaanat zaynabu tunfiqu 'alay 'abdi alllahi wa'aytaamin fiy hajrihaa، qaala faqaalat li'abdi alllahi sal rasuwla alllahi sly allh 'lyh wslm 'ayajziy 'anniy 'an 'unfiqa 'alayka wa'alay 'aytaamiy fiy hajriy mina alssadaqahi faqaala saliy 'anti rasuwla alllahi sly allh 'lyh wslm‏.‏ faantalaqtu 'ilay alnnabiyyi sly allh 'lyh wslm‏.‏ fawajadtu amra'ahan mina al'ansaari 'alay albaabi، haajatuhaa mithlu haajatiy، famarra 'alaynaa bilaalun faqulnaa sali alnnabiyya sly allh 'lyh wslm 'ayajziy 'anniy 'an 'unfiqa 'alay zawjiy wa'aytaamin liy fiy hajriy waqulnaa laa tukhbir binaa‏.‏ fadakhala fasa'alahu faqaala ‏\"‏ man humaa ‏\"‏‏.‏ qaala zaynabu qaala ‏\"‏ 'ayyu alzzayaanibi ‏\"‏‏.‏ qaala amra'ahu 'abdi alllahi‏.‏ qaala ‏\"‏ na'am lahaa 'ajraani 'ajru alqaraabahi wa'ajru alssadaqahi ‏\"","arabic_grade":"صحيح","english_urn":13830,"english_bab_name":"The giving of Zakat to husband and to orphans","english_text":"<p>\nNarrated `Amr bin Al-Harith:\n\n<p>Zainab, the wife of `Abdullah said, \"I was in the Mosque and saw the Prophet (p.b.u.h) saying, 'O \nwomen ! Give alms even from your ornaments.' \" Zainab used to provide for `Abdullah and those \norphans who were under her protection. So she said to `Abdullah, \"Will you ask Allah's Apostle \nwhether it will be sufficient for me to spend part of the Zakat on you and the orphans who are under \nmy protection?\" He replied \"Will you yourself ask Allah's Apostle ?\" (Zainab added): So I went to the \nProphet and I saw there an Ansari woman who was standing at the door (of the Prophet ) with a \nsimilar problem as mine. Bilal passed by us and we asked him, 'Ask the Prophet whether it is \npermissible for me to spend (the Zakat) on my husband and the orphans under my protection.' And we \nrequested Bilal not to inform the Prophet about us. So Bilal went inside and asked the Prophet \nregarding our problem. The Prophet (p.b.u.h) asked, \"Who are those two?\" Bilal replied that she was \nZainab. The Prophet said, \"Which Zainab?\" Bilal said, \"The wife of `Abdullah (bin Mas`ud).\" The \nProphet said, \"Yes, (it is sufficient for her) and she will receive a double rewards (for that): One for \nhelping relatives, and the other for giving Zakat.\"","english_grade":"Sahih","last_updated":null,"xrefs":""}
