{"id":1087,"collection_id":1,"collection":"bukhari","collection_name":"Sahih al-Bukhari","book_number":"24","bab_id":1.0,"english_bab_number":"1","arabic_bab_number":"1","hadith_number":"1399, 1400","our_hadith_number":5,"arabic_urn":112971,"arabic_bab_name":"باب وُجُوبِ الزَّكَاةِ","arabic_text":"أُمِرْتُ أَنْ أُقَاتِلَ النَّاسَ حَتَّى يَقُولُوا لاَ إِلَهَ إِلاَّ اللَّهُ‏.‏ فَمَنْ قَالَهَا فَقَدْ عَصَمَ مِنِّي مَالَهُ وَنَفْسَهُ إِلاَّ بِحَقِّهِ، وَحِسَابُهُ عَلَى اللَّهِ ‏\"‏‏.‏ فَقَالَ وَاللَّهِ لأُقَاتِلَنَّ مَنْ فَرَّقَ بَيْنَ الصَّلاَةِ وَالزَّكَاةِ، فَإِنَّ الزَّكَاةَ حَقُّ الْمَالِ، وَاللَّهِ لَوْ مَنَعُونِي عَنَاقًا كَانُوا يُؤَدُّونَهَا إِلَى رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم لَقَاتَلْتُهُمْ عَلَى مَنْعِهَا‏.‏ قَالَ عُمَرُ ـ رضى الله عنه ـ فَوَاللَّهِ مَا هُوَ إِلاَّ أَنْ قَدْ شَرَحَ اللَّهُ صَدْرَ أَبِي بَكْرٍ ـ رضى الله عنه ـ فَعَرَفْتُ أَنَّهُ الْحَقُّ‏.‏","arabic_transliteration":"'umirtu 'an 'uqaatila alnnaasa hattay yaquwluwa laa 'ilaha 'ilaaa alllahu‏.‏ faman qaalahaa faqad 'asama minniy maalahu wanafsahu 'ilaaa bihaqqihi، wahisaabuhu 'alay alllahi ‏\"‏‏.‏ faqaala waalllahi l'uqaatilanna man farraqa bayna alssalaahi waalzzakaahi، fa'inna alzzakaaha haqqu almaali، waalllahi law mana'uwniy 'anaaqana kaanuwa yu'adduwnahaa 'ilay rasuwli alllahi sly allh 'lyh wslm laqaataltuhum 'alay man'ihaa‏.‏ qaala 'umaru  rdy allh 'nh  fawaalllahi maa huwa 'ilaaa 'an qad sharaha alllahu sadra 'abiy bakrin  rdy allh 'nh  fa'araftu 'annahu alhaqqu‏.‏","arabic_grade":"صحيح","english_urn":13210,"english_bab_name":"The obligation of Zakat","english_text":"<p>\nNarrated Abu Huraira:\n\n<p>When Allah's Apostle died and Abu Bakr became the caliph some Arabs renegade (reverted to \ndisbelief) (Abu Bakr decided to declare war against them), `Umar, said to Abu Bakr, \"How can you \nfight with these people although Allah's Apostle said, 'I have been ordered (by Allah) to fight the \npeople till they say: \"None has the right to be worshipped but Allah, and whoever said it then he will \nsave his life and property from me except on trespassing the law (rights and conditions for which he \nwill be punished justly), and his accounts will be with Allah.' \" Abu Bakr said, \"By Allah! I will fight \nthose who differentiate between the prayer and the Zakat as Zakat is the compulsory right to be taken \nfrom the property (according to Allah's orders) By Allah! If they refuse to pay me even a she-kid \nwhich they used to pay at the time of Allah's Apostle . I would fight with them for withholding it\" \nThen `Umar said, \"By Allah, it was nothing, but Allah opened Abu Bakr's chest towards the decision \n(to fight) and I came to know that his decision was right.\"","english_grade":"Sahih","last_updated":null,"xrefs":""}
